Easy to attach to the vent. I have needed this for years. So much better to use for maps. It is easily adjustable for different phone sizes. There is a button on the back to push to remove the phone from the holder. Very sturdy. I have been using this for a few months with no issues.

A great little phone holder
This car phone holder mount works really well in my car despite my having unusual style vents. Once latched onto the vent bar, it screws in firmly and holds my phone securely. I am able to tilt the phone and angle it for the best view. There’s a quick release button on the back which helps to insert and remove the phone quickly. This mount works on my vent and my other car’s vents which are completely different styles so I assume it works on all, or most vent styles.

Can’t believe it worked without any inconvenience!
This product has made my driving experience so much better a thousandfold! Before I was using a suction cup phone mount that sticks to the windshield and those were a pain because they would fall so often while I was driving, which was a huge inconvenience. I faced no such issue with this product. By mounting to the vent, it eliminated the inconvenience of suction cups! It was very easy to install and worked in a car where other vent mounts would have probably failed to form a secure grip. It’s very secure and I can just leave it hooked onto the vent ready for use! Its rotation ability is a huge plus as well, making it easier for me to see my phone when I need to check the GPS. Not only that, but it’s very very stable, no need to worry about it falling down even in the worst bumps! All in all, I highly recommend this product, it will complement your driving experience and your car very well.

works great but to find the right spot.
I purchased this as I was tired of over the air radio and was getting into streaming wither music or pod casts and needed a way to have the phone available in a practical place like the radio controls.I first mounted it in a vent as intended but with the phone in the way of the air flow and the position of the vent it wasn’t ideal I kept messing with the exact location on the vent and eventually over tightened the mount and cracked one of the fins. on the vent.I have an older vehicle. that still had a CD player as original equipment. so I spent a little time working the mounting hook into the CD slot and tightened the mount there. It is now in the perfect location over the radio buttons of the car unit and not over the air on the vent.I have to say it was a bit tricky getting the mount hook in the the CD slot, but it eventually went in without modification or breaking the slot.
