Color in Wide Width – I’m in Heaven!
LOVE these Keds!!!! Wish they made more colors in the traditional style with the thick platform sole. I have them in green and in white. Was thrilled to find the wide width in this style as it fits me the best. I’m an 8.5 Wide and their 8.5 wide fit perfectly and is very comfortable. The white only came in medium width, so I went up to a size 9 and it is fine. But the green in the 8.5 Wide is FABULOUS!

Decent alternative to Vans
I wish Keds still had the “men’s” version of the Champion–the slim sole but with a higher vamp and more eyelets. They were my go-to shoes about a decade ago and mysteriously disappeared.Glad to see them reintroduce a gender-neutral model again. They’re a bit bulkier than the women’s and more in the vein of classic Vans. I’ll take it.Super comfortable, with a bit more flex in the sole and a cushier insole than Vans, and definitely a bit more bounce than the original Champions.Note that, while these purportedly are built on a wider last, they still run a bit narrow, and are listed in US Women’s sizes. Size up 2 sizes for Men’s sizes.One negative—much like classic Vans, be prepared for your Achilles to be obliterated if you forgo longer socks while these break in.

Its Cute but Doesn’t fit well
It wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped. It also did not tie well as the shoestrings stop lower on the foot making the shoe often slip off the foot. The color was perfect, the shoe fit, not so much.

Narrow shoe. Put a blist on my right pinky toe.
These shoes are not comfortable and I won’t ever be able to wear them again. They are incredibly narrow, especially the right one. I don’t normally need wide in shoes, but these I would do in a wide. The right shoe left my right pinky toe with blisters. Both shoes blistered my heel and ankle, and I had taller, thick socks on. I wore once and will not wear ever again. I love Keds, so I’m disappointed!

Poorly Made
I own about 10 pairs of Keds, and these are the most poorly made I’ve ever received. There’s zero padding under the tongue and around the heel. The canvas is very stiff. The laces are so thin that they’re see-through. I wore these today with thick socks during errands, not walking that much. But when I got home, the back of one heel was rubbed raw, even through the sock. I don’t think these are real Keds at all.As for the color: Be aware that this is more vermilion than red. There’s an orange tint to it that doesn’t match up with any true-red.

Keds makes a good runner – I own many pairs. I saw the comments about these fitting small but the price was so good and Amazon has a good return policy so I ordered two pairs: one black and one blush. Both are a true-to-size fit (an 8.5W). The black pair are already in use. The blush pair – waiting for spring. A good buy.
