Great feel and performance for Pickleball.
I originally purchased and wore the K-Swiss pickleball shoes. The K-Swiss felt very toe heavy and like I was wearing lead weights and had zero cushioning between my foot and the soles of the shoe. After a few months of wearing those I had to find something more comfortable and easier on my knees. I prefer light weight running shoes but they wear out quickly on the court surface. I decided to try the Sketchers and am very happy with the comfort and court performance so far. Right away they felt lighter and the arch support and cushioning were considerably better than the K-Swiss which IMO have none of that. I wear a 14 and my shoes are typically big and heavy. While these only came in just under an ounce lighter than the K-Swiss, the weight is more evenly distributed throughout the shoe and they felt much lighter than expected. I can’t speak to longevity but, the price is reasonable and much lower compared to other pickleball shoes I have found online. Certainly less expensive than the K-Swiss which I clearly wouldn’t recommend.Overall I like the look and comfort these provide. These held up and stuck to the tennis court surface just fine with no marking, squeaking or excessive wear that I have read about on other reviews. If I only get a few months out of them so be it. Better than months of extra knee pain and discomfort wearing the K-Swiss. I would recommend these based on my experience and will update if that changes.*** UPDATE*** Played for about a week now, indoor and outdoor. Glad to say the shoes are holding up just fine, no noticeable wear on the soles from the tennis court surface or toes cracking and looking worn out like i saw in another review. They played very well indoor on a basketball court as well. Still would highly recommend.****Update****It’s been about 3-4 months of solid play 2-4 times a week typically 2-5 hours at a time plus one tournament. So far these have held up, no cracks and barely any noticeable wear on the soles and I’ve played the majority of my PB on a newly surfaced tennis court. I’m looking at buying the new version more so for the color and style, these still fit and feel good, just that bright yellow really stands out somedays. Still very much recommended and definitely would recommend over the K-Swiss.

    My new favorite pickleball shoe.
I really like these pickleball shoes. I waited a few months before reviewing them because I wanted to see how well they lasted. I feel confident now in giving these 5 stars. They have everything I wanted in a pickleball shoe: They are comfortable, light, they wear well, and they look good. I like the Skechers brand, they seem to fit my feet the best. I think they run true to size but in my opinion the toe box is a little wider in these than other brands. I tend to order “wide” shoes but with these I just ordered the standard width and they fit me well.

Super comfy, less foot pain – very wide as described
I play pickleball for about 8 hours a week, and am competitive in my age group and with younger players – about 4.0.These are my first Skecher pickleball shoes – and I liked them enough to get another pair.I ordered 10 extra wide – and unlike some shoes that claim to be wide— these really are!I have high arches, and years of tennis/racquetball/hiking/etc. have killed my feet, leaving me prone to foot pain. These have signficantly helped with my foot pain. The one downside is a slightly less than “dialed in” fit – between the shoe shape/width/etc, there is just a little bit of wiggle, but going down a half size would probably make them too snug.Anyway – I am confident again in running for balls, stopping on a dime and changing directions with good grip and less foot fatigue/pain.

    Stylist, comfortable pickleball shoes
Perfect fit. I wear a size 10 shoe and ordered a size 10. These shoes fit perfectly! I ordered the neon yellow/black and they look great. They feel very comfortable and I can’t wait to try them out tomorrow. Delivered very quickly at a great price. I would definitely recommend them to a Pickleball player.

I liked them enough to buy a second identical pair
This was my first pair of court shoes so I do not have a basis of comparison. I liked them enough to buy a second identical pair when they wore out. So far I am a fan of the “ArchFit” line. The arch is more pronounced than other court shoes such as Reebok where the whole foot bed felt flatter. The rubber lasted about a year playing fairly aggressively a couple times a week for a couple hours each on a mix of indoor and outdoor surfaces. The upper still looks good with no glue separation, tears, etc.

    Good shoes.
Very good feel, court grip, and appearance. Turned out to be a bit tight in forefoot in actual play. Suggest ordering you normal size plus next larger to ensure proper size.

Expensive after adding good insoles and laces.
This is a 3 month review. On initial try on, the toe box felt roomy but ok. The included footbed was very thin and provided no plantar support. Laces were thin but looked alright(lasted 5 weeks before replacement was needed).Insole replacement (week 2) helped with support and comfort over long play sessions.By week 3 the roomy toe box was loose and no longer supported the balls of my feet. Too much free lateral movement causing foot cramps after play. The bottom line is that this is an expensive shoe that breaks down after 2-3 months of regular use. If you have wide fit the ample toebox may work for you but expect it to loosen.Price for the shoes $89, insoles$27, laces $8. Thats $124.00. Or what you would pay for a premium shoe with a proven track record(ASICS,New Balance, Kswiss, etc).

    Supportive, comfortable and durable shoe.
I’ve had these for several months now and play pickleball at least 3 times a week. These shoes are holding up well and provide good traction thanks to the Goodyear brand sole and cushioning for pickleball outdoors. I have issues with my arches and metatarsal but I can use these comfortably without any special inserts and no pain afterwards either. They are wearing well despite heavy use and I fully expect to get many more months use out of them before they need to be replaced..Proper footwear for any sport is important and after seeing other players injure themselves trying to use other sport or running shoes for pickleball, I am convinced that these shoes are well designed for the sport and highly recommended them.

I play pickleball and I have found to my cost, that it’s important to match the right type of sole for the sport/activity. For me, buying Skechers is a given. But there are many types of shoe made by Skechers.I bought a pair of training/running shoes for Pickleball and the soles had way too much grip and were actually dangerous. For Pickleball, particularly indoors on a wooden or composite floor, you need the right combination of grip and slide. The composition and tread on these Pickleball shoes is obviously well researched and executed by Good Year.I thoroughly recommend them with one reservation – price! Before you buy, look carefully at the different colours available. The price can vary hugely for the same product. Some can actually be more than 4 times the cheapest price I found, which is ridiculous, so be careful.
