Sizing was a challenge but love them!
I read every review trying to figure out my size. I am normally an 8 everywhere else in US sizes. I have never ordered Dr. Martens in UK sizes before. I ended up measuring my foot and going by the size chart, which said I was comfortably a 6. Ordered the 6 and my toes were smack up against the end of the shoe. I guess you could say they technically fit. But they were not comfortable. Then ordered a 7 and they fit great! I would say if your normal size is a half size, go down one and a half sizes. If your normal size is a whole size, just go down one size unless you like your shoes to fit like they were molded to your feet. Aside from the sizing they are heavy but the weight doesn’t bother me because the quality is outstanding. And oh my are they cute! I wear a lot of jumpsuits and these really complete the look. I am going to get a lot of use out of these!

AMAZING shoes, sizing is interesting
These shoes are SO cute and amazing. Sizing is always hard so I wanted to share what I did. I am typically a size 7.5 in most shoes, I own several pairs of Doc boots and wear a size 8, with everyone suggesting to size down, I purchased these shoes in a size 7. I got them and they were kind of big in the foot overall, with a gap in the toe area. So I decided to order a size 6 to compare. They fit much better for my foot, but, they weren’t as comfortable as the 7s. If there was a 6.5 I definitely would get that option. In the 6 I had much less arch support and the balls of my feet hurt after a short amount of time trying them on. With the 7s, I have more room for socks and I am contemplating getting a toe insert to add more bulk into the toe box and reduce the gap. I love these shoes so much and look forward to some new spring heels!

What can u say about the classic awesomeness of the Mary Jane made by Dr. Marten’s iconic air wair? Well? I have an extensive boot collection n these are the bomb. I read all of the other reviews where others say they run big so I was hesitant to get my true size of US 6. Turned out that I made the right choice as they were very TRUE-TO-SIZE, not small or too narrow at all nor where they too big either. The sale price of $91 was EXCELLENT. If I bought the size UK size 5 it probably would have been a mistake for me especially with heeled shoes like these which are more weighty n heavy (n a great way tho for quality purposes). As ur foot naturally slides forward if too large n may make ur big toe sore n require thick socks n insoles (not thing stockings or cute Trouser socks) so if ur a true US 6, GET THESE SHOES….U will b thrilled. Read This If You’re A Half-Size
I’m usually 9, 9 1/2 and only recently had to purchase a size 10 in sneakers. It was a tough call but I went with the size 9 – the toe box was way too big and I could fit my finger easily behind my heel. I tightened the straps but it just caused friction. I used thicker socks, and it definitely improved, but I could still tell it wasn’t an appropriate fit.Rereading the reviews, I saw someone suggested ordering a size and a half down if you’re a half size, so I’ve placed an order for a size 8 and will update once they arrive.Otherwise, the shoes are super cute and well-made.Update: Kept the size 8! More or less a perfect fit 🙌 yay!Pros/Cons:☑️ Quality craftsmanship☑️ Adorable and stylish☑️ Adorable and stylish☑️ Did I mention that they’re adorable and stylish?❌ Sizing is tricky❌ Definitely heavy, but Imma still wear em 😅

*Obsessed!!* Do size down
These are so absolutely adorable. I have 2 pairs of Doc Marten boots and wanted to venture out a bit, these caught my eye and I just couldn’t stop looking at them online. I thought maybe they’d look too “young” for me (40) but honestly I don’t think so, they are classy and stylish just like all doc martens tend to be. Classic. Very versatile also. Note: I am a solid 8, sometimes 8.5 and I got the 7 after reading the reviews. They are roomy but comfortable. Had I gotten the 8 they would have been huge and had to be returned I am sure. Can’t wait to wear them this spring!!

Cute but not comfortable and very heavy
I love Dr Martins. I have several pair and have owned many more over the last 20-30 years. They are always a bit heavy but these are a workout. They are way heavier than any other pair I have and I own two steel tow boot pairs. They are also not “all day” comfortable like the boots are. I suppose that is a bit to be expected as they are a heeled shoe but it’s a bit disappointing if you have to be on your feet at work and want to look cute but still keep that old school vibe going. I will continue to wear them and see if it gets any better but I don’t foresee myself wearing them as often as often as I had previously thought when I purchased them. In hindsight, I wish I hadn’t liked the style so much and gone with my gut and just returned them before it was too late and I had already thrown away the box. My advice, if they are for short time wearing, go for it as they are cute. If you plan to have them on for long days with a fair amount of walking, these are probably not the shoe for you.

Super cute and surprisingly comfortable! I listened to everyone else and got a smaller size. I am usually a 7 or 7.5 but I ordered a size 6 and they fit perfectly. Would recommend 🙂

Wearing these feels powerful!
These docs are everything I hoped. Everyone is right about sizing down. I’m a 6.5 and the 5 is perfect. My feet are wide so I am breaking them in because they’re a bit snug near the toe. But I’m used to that and they’ll fit great in a little while since they are leather. I’m only 5’2” and when I wear these I feel like a bad*** in the best way! Punk but still feminine. They are stable to walk in because of the wide lug sole/heel. But they do put me up on my tiptoes so it took a few times to walk normally. I saved up for these and finally went for it—so happy I did!!

La compra llegó en tiempo y en perfectas condiciones. Siguiendo el consejo de varias reseñas compré la talla 6 – 23 cuando generalmente yo uso 7 1/2 – 24.5 y me quedaron perfectos. Son impresionantemente cómodos, en todos los sentidos. Son los primeros zapatos altos con los que puedo caminar normalmente y hasta correr sin ningún problema. Las correas viene un poco cortas. No soy de pie gordo y tuve que ponerlas en el último hoyo. Va a depender mucho del gusto de cada quien, pero para mi, se ven absolutamente hermosos con pantalón, con vestido o con lo que sea. A pesar de su tamaño son muy ligeros y su tecnología Air Wair hace que se sientan como acolchados en el interior. Ahora quiero todos los modelos de Dr Martens. ¡Los amo!
