Shoes were a Pleasant Surprise
TLDR: For the money these are a good value, as long as you understand their purpose.This review is for the black-on-black slip on “MAIITRIP” shoes with the red logo.The shoes arrived with a strong odor. This mostly dissipated by the next day. They came sealed in plastic, in a decent cardboard box, and include extra (kind of thin) insoles to help with the fit if the shoes are a little large (they won’t be large unless you order a size up).I wear a half-size and I ordered these mostly because they were available in my size. Lengthwise the shoes I ordered fit correctly for my size, although they are pretty narrow. Because the uppers are unstructured and made of soft material, the narrowness hasn’t bothered me or hurt my feet.The shoes are somewhat unstructured, so I thought that they would be “floppy” and have to be pulled on, like similar shoes I have purchased at this price point. They have a tab at the back to grab so you can pull them over your heel, which I like. However, with the tension of the laces just right, I was happilly surprised to find that I can actually step into these without bending down and grabbing them.The soles have sufficient tread (though not as much as something like a pair of Skechers) and the soles on mine are not slippery at all, but provide decent traction.From a distance they look more expensive than they were (I paid about 20 US dollars).The shoes are very light and pretty comfortable.These are not dress shoes or athletic shoes. They are for slipping on when you take your outside shoes off, or maybe for keeping by the door to slip on and run to the mailbox. My rating is based on purpose and price. For what these are, I think they are a great value.

My feet feel much better at work!!
For the price they are amazing shoes! I work at my feet behind a bar and I wear these for my 10 hour shift. My feet feel much better than when I was wearing my converse. Honestly, I’ve only had them for a month. Bart, I’ve been wearing them 5 days a week. At least ten hours a day behind the bar and they are holding up well and still comfortable!

Great quality and comfortable but not slip resistant
they’re really comfortable and take a good beating while i’m at work but they’re not the most slip resistant. They’re definitely better at gripping the ground than traditional shoes but still not the bestother than that i think the shoes are great and worth the buy

Great disposable shoe. Son works as a waiter, buys a pair every 8-12 weeks. They work and the price point makes it easy for him to be comfortable every shift.

1 size small in the us, order larger than normal.
I wear a 10.5 wide and ordered a 11.5 based on another review, (thank you to that person) the shoes fit snugly as far as width goes but if ok for length. Definitely glad to have ordered 1 size over. They seem narrow initially but after wearing them a few hours they seem to be comfortable enough to keep as house shoes with my relaxer insole from the good feet store.

Amazingly comfortable for the price!
They are great shoes for the price! Very comfortable, sole is not that foam junk, its molded synthetic rubber. THEY RUN ABOUT A SIZE SMALL so get them 1 size bigger! I wear 9.5 mens and ordered 10.5 and they fit perfect. Second picture is comparison to a 9.5 US mens shoe (25.9cm / 43 1/3 EU)

cheaply made junk
they are a bit uncomfortable to wear, but I cant afford the time to replace them since I have only this pair.I know that shoestrings are an item that most don’t think of, but breaking less than one week after buying the shoes is pathetic.I’m glad that I had shoestrings on hand.Then, as I was getting ready, for a good friends funeral;1 week after I got these garbage shoes the eyelet on top of the shoes holding the shoestring in place, tore loose. tHIS IS WORSE THAN THE K MART BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL THAT FELL APART IN 3 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!WORSE SHOES EVER!I will take out the shoestring that I had replaced before I return these useless words that I cant say on TV! Next monday I will call and return these things that are not shoes.
