Educational Fun Game
Excellent “game” for a 3 year old. My granddaughter thinks this is a fun game with cards and dice. What she is actually doing is learning to spell words. She sees the card, saying a cow and spells it out with the letters she search’s out on the dice. It’s fun and educational. Nice graphics on the cards and the dice are toddler size.

Fun game for early spellers/readers
Easy for kids to understand and use. My daughter, 3, is just the right age for it. She has a good grasp on the look of all the letters so she can identify them on sight and hunt for them on the jumbo dice and she is just old enough to understand that dice are for playing with, not for eating. She enjoys rolling the dice around in her hand looking for letters and feels accomplished when she completes a word. I’m hoping the words will start to stick in her head. For the time being most of these words are out of sight, out of mind, but my hope is that the practice of having to looking away from the word to find the letter will give her the rudiments of remembering what letters go with what word.

Cute and compact
Cute activity. Lots of things I like. Really only one negative. The letter blocks store in the bottom. Has a storage spot for the cards. I like the flip down so you can see or hide the words. Nice mix of words with different spelling patterns. The card and block doors snap tight so not to worry about pieces falling out on one hand it’s nice that there aren’t a lot of blocks, and it is nice that the blocks tell you what all letters can be found on them. However, for young students who are learning with this toy the small letters under the main big letter is distracting and confusing. Some letters are on multiple die and some are only on one. So we have had it happen that the die we picked for the first letter had the next letter we needed so we had to swap out the first letter cube. Not an issue for an older person, but complicated for a young learner.

This is much larger than the advertised photos are!!
So you know how usually most items, especially toys, look so much larger than they really are in the advertisement vs when they arrived to your house…This toy is the exact opposite and I LOVE IT!We have had this for about 2 months now and it is definitely a go to learning toy in grandmas toy box!My grandkids; ages 2-4 very much enjoy learning with this product!!The blue, hard plastic storage box is really a huge plus. It keeps the letter squares and the word cards all organized and well kept.Of course 2-3 year olds don’t know how to spell yet but this product works on letter recognition for Littles. I review phonic sounds with them. We use each picture card about talk about what it is and the colors of the picture. The uses are really limitless. The yellow, letter squares are so perfect for small hands because they are BIG! So much bigger than I would have ever thought!I highly recommend.

Mom approved educational ABCs activity
My tot (almost 3½) is learning her ABCs in school and I thought this would be a fun and challenging educational activity for her.I started off with just showing her a flash card and asking her what the letters are on the card, at which point she spells them out as I point. She’s not quite at the point where she’s able to find the letters on each block to spell out the words. However, she will call out the letters on different sides of the blocks as she picks them up and looks at them.Being that the activity is still a bit too challenging for her to use as intended, she loses interest in it pretty quickly, so I put it away for now and plan to revisit this activity in a few months. I like the concept of this item and think she’ll really enjoy using it once she’s a little older. The blocks store neatly in the base of the item, which is a really nice function. It feels like it’s pretty sturdy, and great bang for the buck. I think this item may be better suited for an older 3 / young 4, who knows all their ABCs.

Great at first, however, limited in use and re-playability.
My 4 year old daughter really liked this at first, It was a hit for about an hour. After several weeks, it has sat untouched. I tried getting her to play with it, but she said she already spelled all the words. We tried a few times afterwards, and she’s just not into it. We even tried making up new words. Unfortunately this learning toy has just captured her attention anymore. It’s nicely built, simple plastic, and has a storage compartment built in. 3 stars for the initial excitement.

Great for kindergarten
My nephew has been having trouble talking and this is helping him learn easy words and will eventually help him learn to spell. Very easy to use
