Solid product
I bought this to clean some strange power anomaly and safely shutdown my home server. It has worked very well. My only complaint is that the Linux agent doesn’t keep an event history. It only shows the last time the power dropped. But it will beep from time to time and I don’t know why.

Good UPS Option
I previously only had experience with a competitor’s UPS product, however they didn’t offer what I was looking for which was a wall mountable UPS with AVR and a replaceable battery. This UPS met the requirements and Wirecutter included it in their other good UPS units list.I’m using it to keep my cable modem, a switch, and a MOCA adapter up in case of a power outage. I haven’t needed it yet, but it had no trouble keeping the equipment up and running when I pulled the plug to test it.My only complaint is that I wish CyberPower would include a wall mounting template and screws, however, it wasn’t hard to make a template myself and I had some extra screws on hand.

Expensive what it is … but a solid workhorse.
This is expensive for what it is but has been a real workhorse over the years with no issues. Battery is still going strong. Just very expensive.

2 hours battery backup for my Mac M2 Pro Mini w/ one monitor too
Estimated time on my Mac Mini M2 was so good that it was about 3 hours… but obviously, I’ll need a monitor while I’m working from home, I added the monitor and the thunderbolt hub I have… all combined, it went to 2 hours for all that. That’s honestly not bad for what I paid for it. Far more efficient on power than my PC would be so this worked out well.Main reason I got it was that I had a couple of incidents with PECO here in Bristol, PA where they sometimes shut off power for a minute or two…. no one is sure why but I think they have some remote shut off and have bugs in it….. they’ve seriously shut our electricity off for 10 minutes and then it comes back on….. so to counter this, I hooked this up and will at least have it safer from quick power outages. I have a larger model from them that’s hooked up to my FIOS ONT and router (and NAS too)…. when power went out for 2 hours, I still had internet in my place the whole time. It was pretty cool.So now I have one in my desk that’s inside the cubby hole in the desk (meant to house a bigger Windows PC tower)…. and it’s working great.

Works well with the Synology DS220+
This was easy to install and integrate with the Synology DS220+. Setup of the UPS itself and the NAS setup was easy. The DS220+ reports that this UPS can support it for 11,000 seconds or just over 3 hours. I like having 12 outlets on the UPS. That gives plenty of room for some of the larger plugs. I was able to use a USB 3.0 hub to connect the UPS to the NAS as well as my USB drive. the Synology DSM software recognized both and both work. I did a test run on the UPS by unplugging it and after the designated time I set (1 minute for the test) the NAS shutdown and as I specified in the settings it also shut the UPS down as well. I’m very happy with the UPS. Seems like a great deal for the money.

Lasted Almost 7 Years
This UPS just failed after being used for almost seven years. It died randomly, not during a power outage, and cut power to the battery backup plugs.Edit (Jan. 29, 2025): Going from 4 to 5 stars. After replacing the battery it’s up and running again.

Superb UPS
This review is for the 900VA/480W, non-LCD CyberPower model:First and foremost, make sure you connect the UPS to a PC via the included USB cable, and download CyberPower’s PowerPanel Personal software. This will allow you to remotely monitor the condition of the battery, initiate UPS self-tests to ensure it is working properly, and have notifications emailed to yourself if there is a power outage. That functionality is worth it alone, and renders the small LCD display option on the unit unnecessary (plus it adds about $20 to the cost, not worth it). After unboxing the UPS, all I did was plug it in, and the battery was already fully charged. The instructions recommend you plug it in for at least 8 hours, but in my case it wouldn’t have mattered. 12 outlets total – half of the outlets are on the battery plus surge-protection, the other half are normal surge-protected outlets. Plenty of outlets for most situations. On my particular PC (which uses an average of 115-150W), the 900VA UPS gives me about 30 minutes of run-time in the event of an outage. That’s more than enough…if you download the PowerPanel Personal software, it will shut your PC down automatically to preserve battery (which is what I would recommend anyway). The key is to avoid those abrupt shut-offs from power outages, so this does exactly what I need it to do, and it’s great to have if you’re away and want to have things automated. Great product, 5 stars.

I needed more than my current 650VA UPS as I’d added more equipment. This is an excellent device that works. It arrived one evening, so I plugged it in to charge the batteries for 8 hours as specified in the manual. The next day I moved all the equipment from the 650VA UPS (same brand!) to the new 900 VA one and NOT ONE HOUR LATER we had another significant power outage that lasted some time. This UPS performed flawlessly.
