Super Comfy, Super Cool!
I bought these as leave-in earrings on a typical lobe piercing. During quarantine and WFH, my ears started to close up because I’d forget earrings for days at a time. They’ve always been quick to close, so when I started considering going off grid and building a house in the woods, I knew I’d need something super simple, comfortable, and allergy friendly to leave in if I wanted to avoid re-piercing. I didn’t want anything as ostentatious as a bright silver hoop, so when I found matte black horseshoes, I was in love!I got the 18G, for a regular piercing I wouldn’t go any bigger than that. A 20G is normal, but since my ears want to close so fast I decided to stretch it a little to buy myself some time. I would recommend 20G if you want to keep it at a “normal” piercing size. I got the larger 10MM size, per reviews saying the 8MM barely cleared the lobe. I can attest, the 10MM is still SUPER small – it only hits the bottom of my earlobe. Though it’s perfect for leave-in and sleeping in (they’re so comfy I have to reach up and check if they’re still there!), I’m already looking into leave-ins around 12MM… I like my earrings BIG!I’ve found myself to be super allergic to nickel and very sensitive to multiple metals. These have been in for a solid 3 weeks now with no allergic reaction/discoloration on my skin or the metal. They’ve stayed in day and night, through sweat and showers, and even with me fidgeting with them the balls have not come off. I have yet to try the spikes, but since I got these as a comfortable leave in, that was really more of a fun extra.All in all, great product, great packaging, 10/10 for these. I’ll definitely be re-purchasing should anything happen to them.

Perfect size for lip rings
I bought these for my snakebite piercings and so far they fit better than any other jewelry I’ve tried! The black hasn’t chipped off after days of wear. The screws are average for this type of jewelry, I did end up accidentally eating one of the spikes. I’d recommend tightening them with rubber or latex gloves if you’re planning on wearing them daily on your lips.I cannot wear these for multiple days, I fidget with them a lot and it causes my lips to become a bit irritated. I don’t think this is because of the material and more so on the rings constantly moving. They also squeak against my teeth as any ring like this will.

Really cool, but sizing is off
I ordered the silver and black horseshoe septum jewelry in 16g. The jewelry sizing is definitely off because these were too thin compared to other 16g jewelry. They seem to be decent quality and are comfortable. The spikes and balls are a bit large and also tough to take off for the first time. I ended up using latex gloves to take the endings off. I recommend using latex gloves to also secure the ending

Had issues with the gauge but thats my fault, used an earring for replacement when I lost my og nose ring but that has nothing to do with the product lol. Good quality, comes in a nice bag and feels heavy in palm but light in your actual piercing. I’ll follow up on this review if I have any issues :]
