Performed As Expected, Got Money’s Worth
Update 10/9/2024: Went to plug this in and as of October 1, 2024, the battery will no longer hold a charge. I bought this on March 11, 2018, so I definitely feel as of I got my money’s worth out of it though.Update 12/30/2022: I still have this. It’s not something I use often. In fact, during the pandemic, I went an entire year and a half without ever needing it, but still religiously charged it at least 1x a month even when not in use. For reference, it was purchased on March 11, 2018, and on Friday, December 30, 2022, I had to jump a individual’s SUV, because his battery died while in my driveway. This did the job with no problem and is still recommended. I’m actually very impressed with the quality and how long-lasting this is.Got this and immediately charged it as instructed. Was a little worried due to reading reviews that some had received this DOA or that the jumper never fully charges. I did not have that problem and I’ve since used it twice to jumpstart my car battery this winter. Very convenient and safe to have on hand in those emergency situations (for reference, I jumped a little Kia Rio sedan without problem). The portable jumper was charged immediately after each use and will be every 30 days per the instructions, so I hope this lasts. Am thinking about purchasing another one as the price was WAY cheaper than in a certain auto store with “zone” in its name…I’m giving it 5 stars since it has, now twice, jumped one of my cars and I have experienced no issue with the device failing to fully charge. The air compressor, light and ability to charge your USB devices are a plus as well, but I did not purchase it for those features. It performing as expected, the price, amps and portability were the main factors.

Very reliable
I’ve had this jump starter for over a year now & it’s still working great! I’ve used it on vehicles & my riding commercial lawnower. It cranks the machine & can also air up all 4 tires within 15 minutes on a single charge of the jump starter itself. It’s very light weight & simple to operate. Easy to recharge. Just plug it into a regular house plug for a few hours after each use. Also it’s also a good idea to recharge it about once a month , whether you use it or not, to keep it in good working order.

Cannot jump my vehicle.Doesn’t hold charge longer than 12 hrs which defeats the purpose of using it as a mobile charger.Would not recommend to anyone.No customer support.Can’t return it.I bought this product in order to jump my car because for some reason, even with a new battery it still dies with nothing plugged in if i don’t drive it once a week. As a college student, i don’t do a lot of driving and wanted to have this around just in case i needed to go somewhere and no one was around to jump me (very small campus). When I first received it my car was actually already dead. So i quickly opened it and plugged it into my wall so it could begin charging. After looking online, it said that the battery would need roughly 40 hrs to fully charge for the first time so i left it plugged in for a little over two and a half days. When i took it out to jump my car it would not start. The crank would very slowly turn but the car would not start. After about 30 seconds of 4-6 second turning the crank (recommended in the manual) the battery died. I took it inside and repeated the process with the same result. I emailed customer service for this product and have yet, 3 weeks later, to hear back. I decided to give it one more chance and left it plugged in for 2 weeks (while i was waiting for customer service to get back) but, at the end of the 2 weeks, had to unplug the battery and move it in order to do some cleaning. This shouldn’t be a problem though since the battery is supposed to hold a charge for 30 days. However, it is now dead 12 hrs later. Wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone for anything. Can’t even use it to charge my phone.

once again I am revising my review of this product, but upward 2 stars this time after having used it awhile The first thing that impresses me with it is that I have abused it and it is only working better. I’ve run it completely down at least twice, which is bad for it and I wasn’t charging it every time I used it like the instructions say, to do , which is bad for it. and the last time I ran it completely dead, was leaving the air compressor pumping my tire all night, which burned out the compressor as well as drove the battery completely down (lol but my tire was properly inflated in the morning). But the jumper part is still charging and working better than every.Also I’d wasn’t following the instructions which say to connect the positive to the positive battery post and the negative to a chassis ground. instead, I always connected the negative cable to the negative post of the battery and it would barely kick my starter over. but today under the same conditions, I connected it to a chassis ground and it started quick and well, My previous negative review, which I am replacing now, was partially based on my improper use and abuse of this product.But i am leaving these parts of the old review because they are valid:.ALL the information about yhis product’s power capabilities on Amazon and on the front in the picture are A BALDFACED LIE, according to the finely printed specs on the back of it which say “350 amps instantaneous” and “225 Amps continuous for 5 seconds”, which means the “700 amp” claim is totally without merit and the “350” dubious because it cannot be used to start a car. I just WISH AMAZON WOULD REQUIRE it’s sellers to PROVIDE TRUTHFUL, USEFUL specs. The problem with the light is that #1, it’s not bright at all and it’s not wide either. I have once watch battery cell keychain led lights that are brighter. And trying to aim the light on what you are doing while using this for, say airing up a tire or jumping your battery, is next to impossible because the beam is so tiny and weak.keep this product charged up to full or it won’t start your car when battery is very low, probably won’t even start car unless battery is only slightly low. It’s good for starting lawn mores motorcycles and other small electric start 12 volt engines.. good cordless portable for inflating tires. Using USB ports run this product down surprisingly fast. inexplicably has covered other weather covered ports, but USB ports are not covered. battery power display leaves a lot to be desired.but then this is very inexpensive and worth the money. Just don’t expect it perform like the amp rating suggest it should, because it doesn’t seem to. Starting a car with a slightly run down battery with this is hit and miss. If it was truly 300 amps, that is PLENTY of power to add to a run down battery and jump a car, so this must not be 300 amps like i believe that a unit that actually puts our as much as this one claims would cost about $200. But It is very convenient for inflating stuff and quick portable power and it only cost me $40. But if you want unbridled reliable power, pass this up and get another product, another brand, that is much bigger and heavier, as much as like a car battery, such as a Snap-On or Mac and pay $200 or more for it.

No funcionaba el compresor, pero de estarlo cargando y tratando ya funcionó ya lo probé en todo y si funciona a la perfección,Entonces si te pasa lo mismo del compresor, cargarlo y dale hasta que se mueva o se despegue, ya si no entonces habla con el fabricante para que te den una solución,.Si cambiar o arreglo pero que sirva y funcione.

After only 3 minutes of charging it started my car ! the battery was completely dead ! I`m very impressed ! I was with my dad and he was a bit reluctant ,but after the first use he had me ordered one for himself ! He was blown away and he`s very hard to impress he`s 76 !

Updated here, my original review is below.So today I tried to jump start my Jetta, and yup. This thing doesnt provide enough power to do it. This Fatmax is useless for cars. I suppose I’ll keep it around for inflating bicycle tires and basketballs. Waste of money and of course, I’m not outside of the return window.——— original review———-On opening the box, the unit seemed much too lightweight for how it looks, this was a bad sign… I haven’t used it yet to boost a battery, but I was unimpressed by this unit’s capability to inflate tires. After topping up 2 tires, it stopped providing enough power to push air with enough force.IMO, it shouldn’t take two charges to top up 4 tires.I was expecting the ability to plug an extender cord directly into this unit (like other jump starter’s I’ve owned), but no… instead it comes with the cheapest generic-looking power adapter you can imagine. How annoying.This unit seems cheaply made, but in a case designed to look quality. I understand now why it was priced less than other similar units. I just hope it works good enough to boost my battery when I need it.
