This is the secret ingredient!
This protein powder is full of good stuff. I use it in a variety of smoothies. It makes adding healthy nutrients to my body easy and takes the guess work out of what I am going to eat 1-2x a day. Adding organic frozen fruit, organic chia seeds, coconut milk or dark almond chocolate milk with a freeze-dried coffee packet makes for a delicious smoothie (as good as a frappaccino, only packed with nutrition!). It is delicious and I like that it has probiotics and has no GMO’s. If you don’t mix it well, it can taste a little chalky, but mixed with the right ingredients, (almond/coconut milk and/or fruit), and using a blender or stick blender takes most of it away and after drinking it a few times it isn’t noticeable. Many of my coworkers who have seen me making a smoothie for lunch are now using it too. My doctor asked me the other day what I was doing different. I shared with her my secret ingredient.

The best nutritional shake out there!
Short version:I LOVE this shake mix. Nutrition is my #1 priority and, after much trial and error, True Vitality is the shake mix I’ve chosen for my breakfast EVERY morning. It’s extremely nutritious and it tastes pretty darn good. I buy the vanilla flavor.Long version:I’m a 20-some with Fibromyalgia. What’s helped me more than any medication is eating well. I’m a vegetarian, mostly vegan, and I eat a very un-processed diet. So I spend a lot of time cooking and preparing very good-for-you meals. But, I need something quick and nutritious for breakfast that I could run out the door and head to work with.I tried JuicePlus, Amazing Meal, and Raw Meal, all of which are delicious, but very expensive. Stumbled upon True Vitality and decided to try it! It met all of my musts: lots of protein, soy free (won’t throw off my hormones), dairy free, a lot of non-synthetic vitamins and minerals, probiotics and digestive enzymes (helps with my digestion issues), and it’s low in sugars and carbs (both of which give me migraines when consumed in excess).I use two scoops instead of 3 (3 is the suggested serving size), just to make it last longer. I get about 20 shakes from one container this way and 2 scoops still tastes great and keeps me full.I mix 2 scoops with: a frozen banana; 2 handfuls of spinach; and some unsweetened, vanilla almond milk. Blend until smooth. It tastes like a banana-vanilla milk shake. You can’t taste the spinach and it’s really, very tasty. Keeps me full until lunch time.

Love it!
I’ve never seen a protein powder that mixes so well. You can see the probiotics activating when they hit water and oxygen too. This stuff is legit, I found my new protein powder. Great amount of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, enzymes and just about everything else your body needs. I’m very happy to have found it, I can replace a lot of things with one powder. It literally dissolves to full liquid every time. No clumps, no clumpy bits stuck on the side or in the corner of the bottom of your glass. It’s the best I’ve seen for that. It’s also not packed full of sweeteners and doesn’t taste particularly sweet. It doesn’t taste bad to me, but my wife can’t finish a glass. She says it will make her puke. She’s exagerating, but again it’s not sweet and doesn’t have a “good” taste. It’s one of those foods your body craves after you have it a few times, and sometimes I wake up at night and just want to drink some and I do and it doesn’t upset my stomach. If you found this review helpful, please click Helpful below 🙂

Tastes like Liquefied oatmeal
My package came within a few days with Amazon Prime. It was in perfect condition and unbroken. The container was perfectly sealed. No measuring cup was included (which was okay). The super-fine powder (reminiscent of powdered sugar) within the container smells and tastes like oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract with very little to no sweetener. I mixed my shake with almond milk and water (1:1 ratio), stirred it for a long while until the lumps were gone, and tasted it. It was powdery and still tasted like (liquefied) vanilla oatmeal, but the flavor wasn’t too off-putting, because I do like my oatmeal… Just not in liquid form. You see what I mean?To make it taste more like a drink/smoothie, I think i’ll mix it again with blended fruit. Overall, I’m very happy because I am excited by all of the nutrients it contains. Plus, it’s labeled as vegan. :DBy the way, the video is just of me opening the bottle (notice how it was filled partially). I didn’t weigh it to make certain, but it is still a great value. o__O

Nutritious and well priced, but not very tasty.
I bought Green Food True Vitality Plant Protein Shake because I was looking for an alternative to my usual Garden of Life Raw Meal. I was looking for a product that was under $1.50 ish per serving and would provide me some quality plant protein with some additional vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. True Vitality is good because it also has some added probiotics and DHA. However, I could not stand the taste of the Vanilla flavor either alone or blended in a smoothie (with greens, cacao powder, berries, and cinammon) which is the way that I usually have it. I got about 7-8 servings in and set it aside and tried out the Rawfusion plant protein supplement which tasted better, but was also a bit of a disappointment.I will probably finish up the True Vitality when I am done with the raw fusion and hope that Garden of Life returns with their Raw Meal (they had a salmonella recall). I actually told myself that I would not be using GOL products anymore because I was actually exposed to a bit of salmonella for over a week and was feeling the effects before learning about the recall, but the product delivers on so many levels (price, nutrition, and taste) that I am anxiously waiting for its return.
