Easy to use with COLOR CODING of your BP reading
I bought this device to replace an older Ozeri BP device I had for years. It was important to me to have the color coding of the BP readings. The old one had red/yellow/green, which is intuitive and at-a-glance EASY to understand. This new version has FIVE color ranges… red/red-orange/orange/yellow/green. Unfortunately, the red/red-orange/orange ranges all look pretty much like red to me. I freak out thinking I’m about to die with a RED super-high BP reading, when it’s actually much lower. For that reason, this device really gets 4.5 stars instead of a real full five stars. If they added another color, like blue or purple, they could spread that spectrum out into an easier to distinguish set of colors.I like the storage case. It’s easy to use with ample room for the instruction manual, device, and cuff. My only irk with the case is that I can accidentally turn on the reader just by squeezing the case while picking it up. I unplug the cuff from the device for storage, which is good because an inflating cuff in a closed storage case would be a bad thing. Something needs to be done about protecting/shielding that ON button from accidental activation.I’ve gotta give props out to the instruction manual folks. I used the BP range table to “program” my BP spreadsheet to color code the readings that I record daily to review with my doctor. That table is helpful, since I have that problem with the red to orange range of readings. Also, they mention caveats about when or when NOT to take readings. This reduces false/invalid readings. In general, I AM VERY, VERY PLEASED with my Ozeri unit. My only issue is the hard to distinguish colors.I would STILL recommend it to friends for purchase, and would buy it again in the future.

    A good Blood Pressure Monitor
I have a older model BP3T OZERI BP monitor and the cuff quit working and this model is no longer available and you cannot purchase a cuff by itself, so I purchased this newer BP9W model. It works well and has color indicators to provide the level of BP as well as a digital read out. The older model, BP3T gave me a read out of Optimum, Normal, Mild, High, etc. which I liked better than the color coding. One advantage is that the BP9W is smaller and takes up less room on my desk and makes it more convenient to carry.

    Great price! Great buy!
Love this!! Came with batteries. So easy to use. Plug the cuff into the monitor and that’s it! Worked immediately. Gave accurate results. Tracking my blood pressure so I use this daily. Love the carrying case. So I can take it with me to work and to the gym.

    Didn’t last 6 months
After a couple weeks, the carrying case zipper separated so wasn’t able to close the case. I wrote the mfg and they agreed to send a replacement. It took weeks and then was the WRONG one. So…I contacted them and they sent the right one. That’s ok and didn’t think much of the case being a big deal. HOWEVER, the unit itself has such an inferior cuff that it just kept breaking down until it was no longer useable and is unable to take a reading. The velcro on the armband is extremely difficult to pull apart when closed and eventually, the stiching around it came loose. In addition, the cuff itself keeps folding around the edges making it almost impossible to sit properly within the bar that holds it around your arm. Now, it is unusable and keeps showing errors because the cuff no longer functions as it should and I tried everything to try and make it work. I’m pretty good at figuring things out and fixer upper kind of guy, but this is kaput. I ended up throwing it out and purchased a different brand (Omron Evolv) and what a difference. This one is in all in one upper arm monitor with no separate cable to the monitor. But the Ozeri BP9W is the worst blood pressure monitor I have ever owned and highly do not recommend it.

    Great little monitor!
Easy enough that my young daughter was able to use it, which she did as soon as my husband took it out of the box. The colorful display takes the guesswork out of knowing your results. It’s a breeze to use, right out of the box. Also, I love the case for storage.
