Great to hold small dash cam.
I wanted something that wouldn’t stick permanently but would stay in place. This has been great. Using it in a 2021 Honda Passport Sport. It fits great on the dash and doesn’t obstruct my line of sight. I use it to hold a Garmin Mini 2. Works perfectly for my needs.

Temporary mount that works for phone, GPS or dash camera!
I was reluctant to purchase this but I needed a way to hold my phone I use as a GPS for a road trip in a car that I seldom use for that purpose. I also have other cars that don’t have built in GPS where I use my phone. I absolutely did not want a permanent fixture in any of the cars. I wasn’t sure how well this pad would work. I studied several different options on Amazon and settled on this one and I am glad I did. My wife and I drove from TN to FL and back using this the entire way. I worked terrific except for one time I accelerated very fast and it slid off the dash. As long as I didn’t drive like I was at a dragstrip, there were no problems. I plan to purchase another one very soon for the same purpose with a dash camera I don’t want to stick to the dashboard or windshield. I want to be able to easily move it from car to car. This is the perfect solution. I highly recommend it.

UPDATE 12-20-2023. Useful, But ….
The product is useful for holding your phone on your dashboard, in my case iphone 13+….but when opening the clamp that holds the phone, I get the feeling it is about to crack and break apart…..the spring tension is high, so it takes a decent amount of hand pressure to open the clamp………the clamp is thin plastic , if it were made of thin gauge steel, or ~18gauge aluminum, the product would last longer.I need to open and close the clamp ~ 10 times per week, I expect this won’t last very long. UPDATE 12-20-2023…..the clamp has not broken yet, possibly because I am very careful when inserting and removing my phone….the product has worked very well, upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.

Easy fit and doesn’t slide
The last phone holder I had similar to this one would just about slide out the window when I cornered. With this one my phone easily fits over the phones case, nothing is in the way of using the screen, and it stays where you put it during cornering. I am very happy with it.

This phone dashboard mount works really well. It will securely grab any size phone securely. It is also flexible to bend in any direction you may need and the beanbag mount stays put on your dashboard.

Very steady smartphone cradle
This is the steadiest smartphone cradle I have tried so far. It won’t move a bit during a sudden stop of my car and the clamp securely holds my iPhone which I rely on for navigation. It is one of the must-haves I bring when I travel and rent a car to drive.

Seems OK but …
I ordered this to hold a smartphone for use as a dash camera in an RV so I needed it to be held steady and to not move around. I have not yet had a chance to drive the RV around to see if the beanbag holder stays in one place but it does seem as though it should and, if not, some double-sided tape will probably work.My main complaint about this is that it came in a single unsealed box. That is, the box containing the item was not enclosed in another box but was the actual shipping box and it was not sealed closed so anyone could have taken the unit out, played around with it, removed items from the box or removed any sealing tape and then put it back and no one would have been any wiser. When it arrived at first I could not believe that it had been shipped like that but the shipping label was on the unsealed box so there it was.That is the reason for my rating. Don’t send me stuff that is not sealed.Update:I have now been using this mount with a smartphone as a dash cam for about 6 months and can say that I have found that it does not move around on the dashboard of the RV as I feared it might, but it does have a tendency to rotate. That is, the mount stays where I put it and does not “walk” to one side or the other, and does not move toward or away from the windshield but every 10 minutes or so I have to rotate it back about 10 degrees so it is pointing straight ahead. Of course it depends upon how smooth the highway is, but it is a constant, although manageable, problem.

This one is Just Right!
I have tried cup-holder mounts, dashboard vent mounts, windshield mounts…all fail for various sometimes catastrophic reasons. This one is just right. You just pinch in the phone (not over the buttons!), set it on the dashboard in a position that is good for you, and you are all set. Doesn’t wobble or travel to interesting corners of the car on a turn or sudden stop. Just Right!
