Finally needed to use this thing and it worked as advertised
Bought this to replace my very old and big clunky portable jumper that was only 1000A.Got this one because its smaller and 4000A.Did not have any way to test this until this morning when my Kia Sorento hybrid would not start.It sat for almost a month without driving and temperatures were very cold where I am so pretty sure that was the cause.So I connected the red clamp to the positive post in the front and black clamp to a metal surface under the hood. Pressed the power button, the display came on and it sensed the clamps connected to the battery. I also noticed the portable jumper drained VERY fast at this point. But I started the car with no issues.Works as expected but just a heads up, at least with my SUV, the jumper battery does drain faster than I thought it would so make sure to start your car immediately after connecting the clamps.Would recommend.

I bought a Yaber jump-starter about a year ago for my new hybrid because apparently the undersized 12 volt batteries in hybrids go dead quickly (they don’t have traditional starters that pull a lot of juice so the 12 volt batteries don’t need to be big), but I’ve only used it a few times to jump my pick-up which doesn’t get driven much anymore… so I decided to get another Yaber jump-starter for my girlfriend for her birthday a couple weeks ago, and since my Tacoma’s battery was dead, I used her new one when it arrived to start it up and let it idle to charge the battery… like my previous Yaber, the new jump-starter had no trouble starting my Tacoma right up – and since it had a 93% charge right out of the box, I didn’t even have to charge it first…most of these jump starters tell you to charge it up every 2-3 months, but apparently this one will hold its charge for up to 2 years – if you’re apt to just toss it in your trunk and forget about it… but remember – you don’t want to totally discharge any battery because that will shorten its life…it comes with everything you need – a USB C charging cable, heavy duty battery clamps, USB A outlets to charge two phones, a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor and a sturdy hard case to keep everything in… it has a really bright 450 lumen flashlight with a flashing white or red strobe light for emergencies, a force start button for jumping totally dead batteries – and an easy to read and understand manual…it has numerous built-in protections including reverse polarity protection for those who are not mechanically inclined, and the display screen has all the info laid out so you can read it in the dark… and it comes with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY, when most things only have a one year warranty… now I no longer have to worry about my girlfriend coming out to a dead battery in a dark parking lot after she gets off work – and calling me to come rescue her…

Very Powerful & Heavy Duty
This jump starter is very strong and packs a punch when jump starting a dead battery. I had a completely dead battery on my truck and this jump starter pack jumped it right up in one try. If you’re battery is dead, make sure you press the “Boost” button before starting your car. The boost button will add extra amps when you try to start your car to turn over your car’s starter and get your engine running despite a dead battery. Once your engine turns over and runs, your alternator should be able to keep your battery charged. Always turn off all your accessories and all your lights prior to jump starting your car, that way ALL the power from the jump starter goes directly to your engine and is not “soaked up” by your lights or any other accessory that’s on in your car. That’s very important!This jump starter comes with heavy duty copper clamps, not the cheap aluminum ones you get with cheaper packs. In my video, I show you how to hook it up and use it. It is very simple and straight forward. Again, if your battery is dead and the engine does not crank at all, then you need to press the Boost button before turning your key to crank the engine. Once fully charged, this pack can jump start your car several times before needing recharged, but I wouldn’t run it down to below 50% because it won’t be as powerful. Usually I just recharge it as soon as I get home after each use, just to top it off for peace of mind. It comes in real nice solid, semi-hard case, which is very nice. It comes with everything you see in my pictures. The instructions are very well written and kept simple. Each port is protected by a rubber covering to make sure water can’t splash into the ports, it is not submersible, but with the covers on it will protect against light rain.I really like this jump starter pack and it is powerful enough to jump start the biggest battery on any truck. I have jump started large F-250 diesel trucks to large 1-ton duallys. This pack sure packs a punch with power to spare. I plan to get a few more for my other cars and trucks and boat.
