Provides stability and confidence
The person who uses the toilet rails cannot push on them with his arms, but they do assist his stability when he sits and stands from the toilet. They do not rock or slide with the suction cup feet installed. The rails arrived with all of the parts in the package. Assembly instructions were not as helpful as a couple of YouTube videos, but it was relatively easy to put together. The pieces that were supposed to snap in did so with no difficulty, and the pieces that were supposed to screw in were also easy to install. The only issue I had was that the legs arrived with the rubber feet already on them, and it was pretty difficult to get them off so I could screw in the suction feet. The suction works well on a tile floor, but the suction cups do stick out far enough from the legs that a regular walker bumps into them when the user sits.

Just what I needed
Postop knee replacement. Absolute necessity. Before I was grabbing onto things which were not safe to grab onto. As other said, the suction cups did not stick well to the ground, but that’s not a problem. Because you put enough weight on it when you’re lowering to the toilet and getting up that it can’t go anywhere. I really like the fact that this was not a toilet seat, it was just the rails, which was all I needed with my elevated toilet. If you have a low toilet, this may not be the best one for you??? Another reviewer commented about putting a washcloth on the railing that touches the toilet tank. We did that as well and it worked perfectly. Would recommend

You’ll be glad you purchased!
Well, once you get over the embarrassment of needing this, it is AWESOME. Before surgery, I tried 2 brands, sent back the other & ordered 2 more of this one. It made getting to the potty on one foot manageable. We have a really low toilet off our living area & my 86 year old mother-in-law remarked over Christmas, “thank you for getting that for the bathroom – that’s the best improvement you’ve made to the house!” I wish I’d gotten this earlier for my knee surgery!!

Sturdy and affordable
This safe bar has made a big positive difference for my 90 year old Dad in providing him with hand bars to get up from the toilet. I initially used the suction caps on the legs but the bar was moving around too much and moved forward which made the toilet seat cover slam shut (I imagine it would break after a few slams). I realized that because my bathroom tiles are the small squares I was unable to get the safety bar legs on the smooth areas of the floor tiles therefore the suctions were not holding. I then replaced them with the other rubber covers that came with the item and the floor grip was much better. Unfortunately the bar still shifts when my Dad tries to lift himself up so I may need to try a different product or just figure out how to seal this one to the floor or wall (thus the 4 stars). I’m thinking the one that is sealed/clamped to the back of the toilet bowl with the two legs only might be a better choice. However, this one should work well if the suction cups work and the price is pretty good.

Perfectly designed toilet frame
This toilet safety and support system has all of the attributes one could ask for: 1) adjustable lengths in nearly every dimension, 2) solid yet light construction, 3) all the parts (but no more) necessary to securely lock in the component locations and angles, and 4) a design that allows it to be essentially free-standing relative to the toilet (e.g. no arms that need to go under the toilet seat), thereby making it suitable for virtually any toilet. It can be assembled in a couple of minutes. I recommend it without hesitation.

Sturdiness is important.
This Toilet Safety Rail is very strong. I bought this to replace the one we had because we needed more stability when sitting and standing. I am 80 now and need to grab something to move. The huge suction cups on the legs does a good job keep the railing from slipping on my smooth floor. This may cost $20 more than the previous one, but it sure is worth it.

Perfect for safety of my grandpa!
I recently purchased these toilet safety rails for my grandpa, who has been quite unstable since returning home from the hospital. I must say, they have been a game-changer for his safety and our peace of mind.**Installation**: The setup was straightforward and didn’t require any tools, which made the process quick and hassle-free.**Stability**: The rails are incredibly sturdy and provide excellent support. My grandpa feels much more secure when using the toilet, and we no longer worry about him losing his balance.**Comfort**: The handles are padded, which adds a layer of comfort for my grandpa. The grip is also secure, preventing any slips.**Adjustability**: The rails are adjustable, making it easy to customize the height and width to fit our bathroom space perfectly.**Overall Experience**: These toilet safety rails have greatly improved my grandpa’s independence and safety in the bathroom. They offer reliable support, are easy to install, and are comfortable to use. I highly recommend them to anyone caring for a loved one with mobility issues.

Works as expected.
My mother needed after a hospital stay to help with rehabilitation. My son tested it for her. She is only 119 lbs. He however is 300 6.4 Tall. It held him for a couple lifts. She has been using for 3weeks now and is getting close to not needing it, so I cannot speak to long term use. Worth the money if you need it. It does take some room if you have other larger built persons in the house, but safety first. Saw what looked like the same one at Walmart and Kroger’s for $25 more.
