Easy To Read
This Temp Gauge is Accurate and Readable. The dial Spins on the hangar so you can Stand it or Hang it in the Oven (or else). Very Satisfied with this item.

Works
Works as it should, fits nicely on the oven rack bars and is just the right size to be visible but not in the way

Gets the job done
My current rental has an oven that appears to have been built sometime between 1960 and today. It has no timer, no digital display whatsoever no preheat notification, nothing. Just a few knobs and that’s it.Trying to cook for the first month or two was difficult as I never knew whether the oven was at the temperature I needed to be considering the inaccuracy of the oven dial. This is a very simple solution to that problem. As far as I can tell, this is an accurate internal gauge that improves the functionality of my oven. It’s small enough not to be an issue while having a very simple design that makes it incredibly easy to use. Just clamp it on to one of your oven racks and let it do its thing. It’s been many months and I’ve never even had to clean the thing as it stays enough out of the way to avoid any food splatter.

Thermometer
Exactly as described. Very accurate and easy to read. No maintenance and easy to clean as well. Great value for the money.

Bad design, slow, inaccurate – useless!
This thermometer’s hanging design stinks. The “clip” is too wide to fit between the bars on my rack. There is no “side hook” feagtures as on almost all other thermometers. The clip itself does not really grip well, so this falls off easily. And the clip is too small to grip the larger front rack bar. And you cannot stand this up as on almost all other thermometers. And not only is this VERY slow to register the temperature – it is way off. With my oven set to 350, after 30 minutes this was still reading 310. My old thermometer was more accurately reading 360. I opened the oven door and closed it and this thermometer stayed at 250 for 10 minutes – long after the oven returned to 350 degrees, corroborated by my old thermometer. I gave up waiting. In short, this is a piece of junk. How a device this defective can be sold, and get positive reviews is beyond me.

Visible but not
I like the size of the dial and the pierced hand that allows a gross measurement of temperature while the slit near the end allows a refined temperature. I expect baking in my old, inaccurate oven to go a lot better with this thermometer. Unfortunately, I have no way to calibrate the thermometer. I will have to go by tests and results over time.

It’s alright
If you’re considering this thermometer it’s probably because you want to know if your oven temp is accurate and stable. I suspected that my oven runs a little colder than the thermostat reports and this oven thermometer confirmed it’s about 20ish degrees cooler than it should be. The thermometer isn’t very easy to read as the text is a bit small and particularly if you’re looking through a glass window in your oven it’s even harder to read. The clip/stand mechanism isn’t terribly robust either. Mine held itself in place on an oven rack for a little more than a week before it fell over and I had to reposition it. But honestly now that I know my oven runs cold I can probably stick it in a drawer somewhere and forget about it. It’s useful, but not extremely high-quality.

The number print had worn off my oven knob so I was guessing the temperature settings. Now with this Kitchen Aid guage I can set a perfect temperature every time. It’s well made and like all KitchenAid products it’s built to last!!

I don’t bake without an oven thermometer because most of the time the temperature of the oven is not accurate
