Does everything it should. It does not leave a mess of clippings, the adjustment knob actually makes a difference, and the battery seems to be rather long lived as I have not had to recharge it in the first couple of months. Seems sturdier than the 5 year old one from a different brand which I replaced

Adjustable is Everything!
Bought this for my hubby who is growing out a beard, but wants to keep it short. It trims short enough to cut off all the white hairs, but leaves the dark roots showing, so he doesn’t look so old! Does not irritate his skin. Great product!

This doesn’t work after 2 months
At first this beard trimmer worked fine. Easy to use, easy to charge, easy to clean, blade guide removes easily. After two months, however, it worked intermittently. It runs for about 2 seconds then stops. Turn it on, 2 more seconds. Turn it on again. Every once in a while you get a whole 5 seconds – yay. I only use it every 3 days, so it took a while to realize the defect: longer than the time allotted to return the trimmer. Lame. Do not buy this item!

Plastic beard trimmer attachment
I just got it. Opened it up and trimmed my beard. It went well and the length adjustment worked good. My issue is with the plastic beard trimmer attachment. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think it’s going to last long without breaking. It has two little plastic legs that slip into the trimmer. Terrible design. I doubt they sell them if it breaks. This is a deal breaker. Buy something else.

It’s a good trimmer. I appreciate the adjustablity instead of changing combs. I need to get a better handle of the lengths, though, but all are a little different. The battery life isn’t great but it’s not like I use it for more than a minute at a time. I recommend.
