SO FUN great date night!
LOVE THIS!! So many clues and felt challenging without feeling impossible. I used to be a true crime fan and this scratched the itch of being an investigator. This was also so well made and well thought out. I’m so thrilled about all the different materials and papers used for this kit, it made it feel even more immersive. If you’re good to the stuff within the box you can even reuse it and share with others. So well thought out and executed. Cannot say enough good about it!

As a true crime fan, I bought this for myself to solve. The quality of the clues included was impressive. The curation of the clues with different types of paper mimicking the actual paper they were representing was an impressive detail. It was very immersive and I was totally focused on it until I solved it. The code breaking did throw me off quite a bit, but this is the first time I’ve done one of these, and now I know what to look for. I had a great time and it was worth every dollar. I bought Body on the Boardwalk right after finishing this one. I have not opened it yet, but I expect more of the same great quality and entertainment.

Super fun! Fantastic for true crime lovers!
I loved it! I have been hearing about these but this is the first I’ve tried it and it was so much fun. It is a level easy and it was pretty much that, which was perfect for our first time. Played it with my sister and we felt like real investigators lol came with a few different props that you then get to use afterwards. Can’t wait to buy another one!

Fun but obvious
This game was a fun game night activity. It took a little over an hour to complete but some of that may have been over thinking the clues. It was somewhat obvious early in the game as to who the killer was but thought there may be a twist toward the end. There was one set of clues that without the hint would be nearly impossible to figure out. However, that clue doesn’t mean much at all the the overall game. Regardless, good friendly game night activity.

LOVED THIS! I bought this for a birthday party of mine, we had like 10-12 people, but with a big group it takes some time for people to chat and show off the clues. We had a BLAST, took about 90 min, and we solved it, so we felt like geniuses. Can’t wait to get more.(Good one to start with if you’re new to the company! I did a lot of research before the party, because I love true crime, so I had high hopes and expectations, and I was happy with this.)

I proposed to my fiancée on our anniversary and had bought this as a surprise for us to complete together once we returned home as she loves true crime and murder mysteries. This one was really good fun and we really had to rack our brains at points even though it was “easy” really nice quality evidence/objects/letters and very decent hint system if you get stuck!! 10/10 would buy from them again

Ok I have tried the Unsolved Case Files which are also very immersive and fun to spend a couple of hours on. The only reason why I didn’t pick Hunt a Killer first was I didn’t want a subscription.So this standalone box from them really caught my eye and I knew I must give it a try! Fantastic! And I grabbed Mystery at Magnolia Gardens and Body on the Boardwalk as well. Truly hope Hunt a Killer does more of such one-off boxes.
