This one is better than the other mini
THIS is what I was hoping for when I bought the other Hasbro mini Simon that is about 4 inches. That one doesn’t have the same charm and sound of the original, and is more annoying – it talks with a voice like the Bop-it toy and is generally more obnoxious. THIS one is nice and simple and has the same tones as the original Simon. I even recognized the first pattern from my childhood when I tested it out!It doesn’t come with any explanation of whether there’s different modes or not, but I did notice you can change the volume settings on it,so I do wonder if it might do more than the single player basic one. Still, if not, that IS what I bought it for, so I’m happy!Purchased after the other mini one was a disappointment in the nostalgic factor due to being too modernized and I like this SO MUCH better. The sound alone is a reason to get this World’s Smallest one instead of the Hasbro mini – 2 Thumbs up!

It doesn’t say anywhere whether batteries are included or not, so I had to cut through the plastic packaging (never an easy feat) to make sure it was ready for use when my niece opened her gift. I think the adults had more fun playing with it than she did!
