A Secure Phone Mount
This is the same company phone mount as the one I returned earlier this month but this one uses a ball joint at the phone clamp end which is much stronger than the 1/4 screw brass fitting on the previous model that broke on me while I was installing it. This one has a much longer arm on it as well which is good for reach but causes more vibration so good and bad which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Not really the mount’s fault but be prepared if you chose this longer arm model and you have stiff suspension or drive on rough roads (see below). The arm is long enough and easy enough to adjust so I can keep my phone down low out of the way or raise it high enough to video out the front window if I want to capture anything happening on the road but please keep your eyes on the road and hands on your steering wheel and do not adjust while driving as it does require two hands to loosen the knob and move the mount. The screw in base causes you to drill holes in your dash but I know this mount won’t fall off like the other suction or adhesive tape phone mounts I have used in the past which is why I went with this type of mounting system. I also chose the phone clamp over my previous magnet mount as my phone would sometimes fall off the magnetic when I hit a pothole or going over rough roads which is unfortunately the norm for our surface streets here in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am happy with my purchase.

I used this product on a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse. Very sturdy and holds the phone where I need it.It does require a permanent solution. As you have to screw it in place.

Falls apart
Feels good and sturdy and holds the phone well. Went to adjust it and it fell apart. Pieces must have fallen out, as I cannot get it back together. I don’t recommend this product
