Tremendous value, highly functional
I bought this to get ahead of the Windows 10 end of life, and hopefully to meet computing needs well into the future.The large memory and SSD drive, as well as the highly functional internal graphics is letting me do all the things, including running Solidworks.I saw a review posted just after I ordered the laptop that said it didn’t support dual external monitors, and was concerned. I now have two external monitors creating an extended desktop running just fine (with or without the laptop closed) through a generic docking station connected to the USB C port. It took a little bit of fiddling with the settings, but in the end not a big deal.I have had a series of Dells over the years, and they seemed to be continually of lower quality and full of more and more bloatware. This HP has Windows 11 Pro and Office (Lifetime License, NOT 365) very cleanly installed. The only thing I felt compelled to do is delete all the McAfee software so not be constantly pestered by them – the Windows security suite is very adequate for me. Oh, and dump Edge for Opera.The laptop is thin and light, and has a very nice aesthetic, and the keyboard has a nice feel (although I will rarely use it). I have not evaluated the battery life, and probably never will, as it will spend most of its life docked on my desk.Very happy with the purchase so far.Ok – update after a few weeks. All the above is true, except it really doesn’t run Solidworks very well. This was a nice to have, not a deal breaker, so I’m still happy with the purchase and value.

I love my new laptop!
I was hesitant to order a laptop online from a seller I didn’t know, but this laptop is perfect. The directions were clear for Windows office that was already installed. I’m not a fan of the McAfee that is installed since I already have a subscription, but that’s a tiny issue. The product is as described and arrived on time and in perfect condition. Note – for anyone looking for a laptop with a backlit keyboard – This does not have one. I couldn’t find a yes/no in the description for it. Overall though, I am super happy my new laptop! I also feel it was a great deal for what was included.

Speed and lots of storage
Computer arrived quickly and was easy to setup and use. The computer is fast and has loads of storage and features. This is a good business computer or for school work. More computer than I probably need but it should work great for my needs. Great computer for the price.

I had no luck with wi-fi transfer of old files, and I wish that had worked, but this computer is fast. Not the lightest but not too heavy next to my older 17 inch model. My older HP is slow as can be and takes forever to start and load internet. I just hope this will make this year’s taxes go faster. I would buy this again and while it doesn’t perhaps have all the bells and whistles, the price was right and for my uses, photo editing, writing, taxes, a little bit of accounting, it fills my needs.

NOT a ‘Business’ laptop
If you need to connect to a dock or use multiple external displays, this is NOT what you want. The USB-C port in this model is NOT video out capable. From HP’s service desk:”This is a feature limitation on this PC model. Like I have shared with you the alternatives you can use. The recommended solution is to use the HDMI port for one monitor and a DisplayLink certified USB-A to HDMI adapter for another.”The return policy is VERY limited and this limitation is not advertised in the listing. I am NOT a happy or satisfied customer.

Computer Rocks, Headphones SUCK!
So far I have been really impressed with the computer, and if not for the headphones, this would be a 5 star review. But the headphones won’t hold a charge longer than 5 min. And the charging case, won’t hold a charge longer than about an hour… so not only can you not use the headphones, you can’t charge the headphones to try again. Again, the computer is awesome, but don’t expect to use the free headphones that come with it.

Great little computer
Rey was your customer service rep, one of the supervisors. I had a lot of problems with Microsoft Office trying to get it installed, I think the description was misleading, and the directions were very misleading. Rey could not have delivered any better customer service. She needs to be recognized for taking care of my problem, diffusing the customers frustration and probably saving Amazon a customer. Quite a different experience.
I upgraded from a very old HP so there’s a bit of a learning curve. It was simple to activate but not sure about OneDrive. The cloud only came with 5GB of storage so hard to move files from old system. You can buy extra storage if needed. Bought a how-to book that helped to explain how the system works. For now, I’ve disabled OneDrive until I better understand it. Other than that I’m very happy with my purchase and the inclusion of Office in the package.
