Works great and cat likes them!
I have been using these treats with my long haired orange cat for about three years. He loves these treats. I usually give him a few at dinner time on top of his kibble along with a couple of Greenies and a couple of Temptations. He gobbles them up. With his long haired orange cat, he previously had a lot of hairballs. This was difficult for him and gross for me to clean up. These treats have drastically cut down on hairballs. We have gone from 1-2 per week down to 1-2 per Spring season. I highly recommend. Some folks have said these are hard. I do experience this once the package has been opened for a while but unless you have a cat with teeth issues they should be able to chew them up ok.

Help’s with hairballs!
Depending on the cat, they love the treats & helps with hairball issue’s.I only give my cat a couple 2 times a week. This flavor isn’t for all cats from my experience (my tabby loves ’em but my boy tux hates ’em)so be choosy with the flavor.

Needs better dosage information on the packaging
These definitely appear to work well. I followed the dosage instructions for my cat who is on the smaller side (8 lbs) for 2 days to try and stop her hairballs. She ended up having diarrhea pretty bad the day after the second dose which lasted for one more day.I should have given her less, but the information should also be scaled better based on cats since they can range up to about double my cats weight.Keep that in mind if you have a smaller cat, and go easy on the dosing.

My cats don’t even think these treats are food
I never read reviews for cat food or treats. You know why? Because cats don’t write them. So when Karen from Michigan writes “my cat didn’t like this food, 1 star!” it tells me absolutely nothing about the quality of the food. All it tells me is some lady got mad her cat didn’t like a particular can of cat food.Though I have purchased countless cat products over the years, I have never written a review for one before. I am not a cat and therefore not the target audience for these products. All that matters is whether my cats like something, and they have better things to do than dictate product reviews for me to type. However, I felt compelled to leave a review for these treats because my cats literally do not even think they are food. (And I’m not using “literally” figuratively. I’m using “literally” literally.)They come running when I open the bag. When I place the treats in front of them, my cats will give them a cursory sniff, then look up at me expectantly, because they know treats are coming. I draw their attention to the treats. They ignore the treats. Or they think the treats are a toy, and they start batting them around. They are disappointed, confused. Wondering if they’ve done something wrong. But I still wanted to give these treats a chance. I went so far as to moisten the treats and mix them into my cats’ wet food. You wanna know what happened? I found the treats, wholly untouched either left in the bowl or lying on the floor. My cats are so bewildered by this treat they don’t even consider it edible and will actually remove it from their food dishes. My two cats are probably the least picky of any cat I’ve seen when it comes to food. Sure they have preferences. But they will eat any brand or flavor of wet food and even dry food. They’re also very skilled pest hunters. Over the years, I’ve found half-eaten carcasses of many a cricket or water bug that had been toyed to death by my boys.Given all this, I can confidently and unequivocally state that this is a one star product, not even considered edible by its intended audience.

Not soft at all
If you are looking for a soft chew cat treat to help with hairball problems, keep looking. The whole bag is basically pebbles, in that they are hard as rocks. Even my younger cats couldn’t eat them, so my older boy Fuzzers had no chance. Will not be buying again or recommending.

Hit or miss
I’ve been on the hunt for a hairball treat for a replacement of the ones she used to eat, the “Purina Pro Plan Hairball Remedy Chews” (They discontinued them)I’ve tried the basic “hairball control” ones by Temptations (She would eat them no problem, but they did not work)I tried “Pet Naturals of Vermont – Hairball, Daily Digestive, Skin and Coat Support for Cats” (She wouldn’t touch them)And now these… Its hit or miss on whether or not she’ll eat them. Sometimes when I put them down, she’ll eat a few then not the rest. Other times, she wont touch them. I have stopped giving her all other types of treats, to basically force her to eat hairball ones if she wants something different (other than her wet/dry food)But that only worked for the first couple of times, and now she’s back to not touching them.Let me start with the good…Pros:- Only have to give treats a few times a week, instead of everyday (like a lot of other hairball treats require)- Relatively inexpensive, especially if they’re on sale. (I have bought them for $4.47 and $3.37. I decided to buy a second bag to stock up when they went cheaper, thinking she would eat them)Cons:- Texture is not really soft, they are on the hard side- Complete hit or miss on whether or not your cat will like them- In general, Hartz is kind of an iffy brand to trust (they don’t have the best reputation. You can research past things about them. Like recalls and such)I’ve only gotten her to eat a “dose” (5 treats) one time. And she’s eaten 3-4 treats probably about 3 times. And since she’s not eating them anymore, I’m unsure on whether they work or not since she didn’t eat them for long enough.

I received this product, the bag wasn’t worth $20.00, it shoud have been $4.00. My cat hates these. You can’t even return this product. Please don’t buy these, you will be very disappointed.

My cat smelled them and refused to eat them. They came as described and packaged nicely but my cat was just not a fan.

Cat ate a couple first day then wouldn’t eat any more even after days of trying.
