Good graphics and fast loading. I like it!
For the average home user, this laptop is excellent so far. Fast with nice graphics and not a single problem or issue. Much nicer than my old HP laptop and 1/4 the price!

UPDATED: Not quite as advertised
UPDATE #2: I filed a warranty dispute with HP and sent a PDF of my Amazon invoice, and they reset the warranty date, so I now have a one year manufacturer’s warranty. In addition, the seller responded and told me they offer a one year seller’s warranty as well. So I am happier about this purchase. As I indicated below, this is a solid, fast computer, and overall I’m happy with the purchase. Keeping it at four stars because I never give five stars to anyone.UPDATE: According to HP, the factory warranty on this device has EXPIRED. This was advertised as a brand-new computer. There was no indication it had been previously purchased, refurbished, renewed, or otherwise in any condition other than new. It came in a new (not retail) sealed HP-branded box. Was this part of a corporate purchase that never got used and was sold as B-stock? Regardless, the seller needs to either uphold the original 1-year manufacturer’s warranty or advertise that THERE IS NO WARRANTY. This is even more misleading than the lack of a fingerprint reader.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Don’t get me wrong, Hewlett-Packard makes fine computers, and this one seems to be no different. I’ve only had it less than a day, but so far it seems solid enough, screen quality is quite good, build quality is good, and most of the specifications line up with what was described – except for the fingerprint reader. There is no fingerprint reader on the device I received, despite the description indicating there is one (right under the number pad “enter” key). I’m not really disappointed in the lack of a reader, but I am annoyed that more care isn’t taken to properly describe what’s being sold. By the way, this particular model is a 17-cp0700dx, part number 6T489UA#ABA, if anyone is interested in updating the description.

No issues with this computer. Maybe I’m biased because I bought this because my last computer was old and slow. I haven’t had any issues like the others complaining about the computer. It’s fast and reliable. I don’t have the touchscreen version and I don’t run it of the power cord so I can’t comment on battery life. I would recommend this computer if you need more computing power. I do run virtual machines on it and there hasn’t been a problem with the extra RAM and processor.

I had a dog of a laptop and it finally quit so I bought this one. It doesn’t say used or rebuilt but an equivalent to this one runs about $1500 from what I found. It looks brand new and works fast. Real fast. I’m a happy camper.

Update : I’ve bought another 17” HP with 7530 and 16GB RAM from COSTCO. It works pretty well. Battery can last as usual I’d say (playing Media (movie) without charging could last like 5 – 6hrs).Oh! Btw the 17” screen isn’t so good as my previous ENVY model.Now still waiting for the refund on the returned laptop.Pros : great screen sizeCons : Fully charged for 24hrs before starting to use due to reviews regarding battery drain issue.Unfortunately Battery only last 1-2hrs even without using the laptop (only installed Google Chrome, no web browsing, no video, no background app running). Tried windows update, BIOS update but unable to rectify the battery issue.It said 32GB RAM but actual is only 16GB RAM. Power button is located beside Delete button (not sure what’s the intention).I’ve returned the laptop and ordered another one with Ryzen 5 7530. Just don’t wanna give up. But this one will be my last try. If not working, will try another brand. All the best peeps.
