Perfect size and shape for tiny puppy. Yay!
I have an 8 wk miniature shitzu-poodle. He only weighs 2 lbs 6 oz. Skin, bones and gobs of fur. I was looking for a food that would not be too big for his little mouth. The breeder had him on a brand that WAS puppy food but I guess for larger size puppies because the pellets were round and almost too big for his tiny mouth. The larger pellet of food in MY photo is Science diet ADULT(I have a larger dog) – same disc shape. . I was trying to photograph the shape. What I like is these are very small and NOT round. These pieces are easier to break with puppy jaws because they are like discs with flat tops and bottoms. And of course Hills makes GREAT dog food. Definitely worth every penny.

Highly recommend. I gave my Maltese puppy the food that the store said he was eating and he would not touch it. Went to the vet because I was worried that he wasn’t eating so I bought the food from the vet which was science diet wet food. He ate it at the vet, but would not have it when he got home. I ordered this and he eats it like a little piggy. Lol

My vet thought that my dog was extremely small for a miniature Aussie doodle fat for age. So I purchased this bag of food through Amazon and mixed it with what she came home with until I was able to get that completely out of her system. But since November she has gained 5 lb and she’s starting to fill out in places. I’ve always loved these products and use them with all my animals. This food has a nice kibble that’s great for her little tiny mouth and it’s very easy to open and it’s not a horrendous smell. We are very pleased with it I get big bags and then they last me for quite some time because she’s very small

Finally a good, nutritious dog food my fussy teacup Yorkie will eat. I went through five other brands before coming to this.The pieces are tiny, and she seems to have trouble getting it between her teeth but she’s able to eat it by chewing some and swallowing the rest whole. They’re so small it doesn’t matter
