I didn’t think to put a bath thermometer on my baby registry so when my son was born, I quickly realized I needed a way to test the temp of the bathwater. I scoured Amazon for the perfect one and with all of the great reviews, I was finally sold on this one. I’ve used this little guy in the bath with my daughter every single time for about 3 months. I am a first time mom and was nervous after reading reviews about mold and/or rust around the batteries in devices like these… but our experience has not been that at all! I wipe down and make sure to put “him” in a dry spot after each bath, and do check the battery casing before each bath. I’m not sure that makes any difference, just for my own sanity.This has been great for reassuring me that the water is safe and warm, and it’s finally become my baby’s “bath time bestie” at 9 months old. She only gets to hang out with him in the bath and gets excited every time she gets in and sees her “otter for the water.” You can also adjust the “safe” temperature if you’re trying to stay within a smaller range than the default setting. 10/10 would recommend! 🦦

Not durable product
This was going to be used for bath time for our baby, after testing it in water a few times it has stopped functioning completely and does not even read temperature on the screen anymore. So to add to not being able to read any temperature it also would not get off of Celsius. It just went to Celsius on its own and after hitting the button to change it back it never responded. Would not buy again nor would I recommend this product

I love how it tells youu what the temperature is , you can read it clearly & it last a long time , I haven’t had to replace or charge a battery yet & it goes in the tub every single time my son is in a bath !! It’s easy to use & it lights up when reading .
