Strong magnet
This holds our phone very well and the magnet is very strong. As seen the picture, even only a couple of magnets are strong enough. The thumb screw is easy to loosen or tighten around our phone. This spinning nut to secure the angle of how the holder is situated is also easy to adjust. If you’re looking for a strong holder for gym use or around the kitchen, this is a good device.
The New Achilles –
Very well made with a strong magnet but a little difficult to fit with the phone
This as a very impressive build quality with the magnet attachment quite strong and rubber coated so it does not scratch something easily. Everything else is very robust and my only complaint is that the sizing to fit the phone is a screw type adjustment when I would have preferred a spring-loaded design. If you want something that is extremely firm then this probably is a little better but I like a little easier in and out process personally.

I thought this one would be similar, but I ended up disappointed.[MAGNETIC HOLD]: The holder has multiple magnets in a ring, but there’s no magnetic hold in the middle. It doesn’t stay well on metal bars or any slightly curved surface.[ADJUSTABILITY]: There’s a screw to adjust the ball joint hold, but I can’t get it to budge, so my phone keeps tipping forward. This makes it impractical for stable use.[OTHER ISSUES]: The holder has a sticky residue, which is bothersome. Also, I’d prefer a spring-loaded adjustable clamp to hold the phone screen. Having to tighten and loosen it is awkward and takes longer to use or slide your phone out when you’re done and ready to go.

Super Strong!
I ordered this to use with the gym equipment both at home at boot camp, but the large round disc magnet is too large for both. Keep in mind the size of metal surface you have to work with AND that your equipment actually has metal rather than molded plastic! So…I discovered other uses for this phone holder. I keep my grocery list on my phone, so it’s handy to have the phone on the fridge to record needed items right away. (Using an old iPhone that syncs with my new one!) It is also great there for looking up and following my Pinterest recipes! Hands free and conveniently located at eye level across from my little island where I put meals together! Another fun little use for it: We were able to attach it to the metal front door frame and turn on music so that when brunch guests arrived they were thrown into the spirit of the holiday while approaching the house! Come Spring, I can attach it to my metal gardening cart. I infamously sit my phone down outside all the time. This way, I can keep up with it, keep it clean and dry, and have my music playing right next to me! So this device has multiple uses limited only by one’s imagination! The magnet is REALLY strong, and setting up the device is easy peasy.

Strong magnet, secure attachment. The magnet is quite large so be aware may not fit tight areas
This is a beast of a magnetic mount. Feels very secure and maybe even a bit of overkill. The large magnet base is very strong but perhaps they made it too large since it limits places where you might be able to use. It won’t fit into a tight space or work securely on thinner bars.If you have a wide enough metal surface (wider than 2inches), you will be very happy with the mount. It is very secureAnd the holder also holds the phone securely. Easy to open and easy to adjust viewing angles.This feels like the kind of item that might take a little time and effort to find the proper uses for it. I feel like in time, I will discover 3 or 4 great ways / places to use the mount. But for now, I am keeping it on the fridge. The limitation are metal places to use the mount not the mount itself. The price point under $10 makes this a 5 star value and I recommend

Holds too well
So this thing is a monster with the grip it has on metal. Like you’ll be struggling to take it off. With that said, IT STAYS ON! I’d def get it again! So useful when I work out. Fits most standard phones, doesn’t flap around. I use it for when I exercise and have it clipped to my weight rack. Get it!
