This is a must have product! I have been using an old school candy thermometer and it was time for a digital upgrade. It is so much easier!The temperature reading is very accurate. And the length of the thermometer is long enough to keep you away from the heat of whatever you have on the stove. I ordered this thermometer to make yogurt. I like the way it attaches to the pan, and the digital display is easy to read. But the best thing about the product is the seller! The first device arrived on a Sunday morning, and when I opened it to use it, the temperature reading was not accurate. It did not move with temp changes, so I contacted the seller shortly after noon on Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, I had received an email with apology and request for a new address so they chould ship a second one. They did not want the original returned. The new product, which works perfectly, arrived a couple of days later. This is remarkably good service!

Love the digital readout
I use to use a candy thermometer and I really like the digital readout. I made fudge and my old thermometer is like the old ones your mother used to take your temperature. Candy requires an exact temp to come out correctly and my old one would fog up making it hard to read. Just love this one

Clips slips and doesn’t work on wide lips
Thermometer works well but it isn’t strong enough to clip onto narrow pots without wobbling, and doesn’t have any width to it so a pot with a lip like an instant pot liner simply won’t work. It’s not entirely waterproof either. I momentarily dropped it into cool water and a drop appeared inside the LCD but later went away.
