I have not use it but it is very well built. I think that it will be a good tool if I ever need it.

If a person has leg strength to stand up, I think it would work well to steady them, but does not work if the person needs something to lift butt up. It’s well made and would work well to just help steady a person, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have another person to help lift or reposition the patient.

It is wide enough to be useful without being overly bulky.I was hopeful this would be helpful in regularly positioning my roommate, who had a stroke in bed. It didn’t work as I hoped because she didn’t want to lay on it during the night, and it proved hard to get out from under her as she as limited mobility after a stroke. However, it is useful to have around for emergencies.
