Comprehensive Electronic Study Guide
This book covers the spectrum from beginning physics to complex linear circuits and use of 555 timers and op amps. Written at the technologist level so there’s plenty of detail, but with great summary/comparison pages so you don’t have to get bogged down in the math if you’re not interested. Make sure it’s the version you need if you’re buying it for school, this is the electron flow version vs the conventional flow version. Circuits are analyzed from the perspective of electrons flowing from negative to positive which is accurate from a physics standpoint. Conventional flow is circuit analysis using positive ion (hole flow) movement from positive to negative. Both are valid, but different EE programs teach differently, have to have the book to match your program of teaching. This is one college book I won’t sell, it will be a great reference book to have on my bookshelf.

Practically Perfect
Wow! This book was received in basically perfect condition. One corner of the front cover (it was a hard cover book) was ever-so-slightly crinkled…just *barely*…was the only flaw I could find, lol, and that’s awesome to me. No markings, no bent pages, seemed like it had never even been opened. Will add this seller to the list of folks I’ll look to buy from again.

Great at explaining how circuits work.
I will not bore you with a lengthy discussion here. The book does its job (and then some). I found the examples in the book to be of great use in putting everything together and actually using the knowledge learned in a real situation, especially when coupled with the multism software (sold separately). I did not give this a five star as it did not have the CD but my instructor from my course provided me with the website to download the information that would normally be on the cd, for free.
