Minerals: Use Citrate or Chelated
I have used Pure Encapsulations since the early 1990’s. Pure Encapsulations is on of the few OTA supplement companies who make and provide clean bioavailable supplements. Meaning they use minimal fillers and only fillers that the body needs and absorbs. Many minerals need to be either chelated (bound to an amino acid) or be in citrate form in order for the body to be able to absorb the mineral and therfore, actually get results of the mineral to the cells and tissues in the body need. For minerals I would suggest looking for and using only Pure Encapsulations, or Thorne Research. There are a few good other companies, but the above mentioned companies have a wide variety of trusted supplements. Also try to look for chelated or citrate bound mineral to ensure your body is able to absorb your minerals so you can feel and reap the benefits.

Great even if more expensive
I use this brand on the suggestion of my doctor. He said this brand (and NOW) are two brands that consistently do a good job of correctly labeling what is in the supplement and using good, reliable ingredients. Very pleased and absolutely worth it to buy the brand even if it is a little more expensive.
