Defines Curls & Controls Frizz
I absolutely love this curl custard from Aunt Jackie’s. I have very long, thick curly hair that gets frizzy at times. I use this custard along with a curl mousse for curl definition and control. It also smells so good! A little goes a long way! This product defines, softens, adds shine and tames frizz. It weighs my hair down a bit (in a good way) to control my curls more. I love this product so much! Great value and wonderful brand.

I like the smell it leaves on my hair. I don’t need to use much for my curls and next day I just reactivate with water. Didn’t feel sticky on my hair or greasy. Hair feels nice and fluffy without frizz. I wish it would look shinier when it dries but it definitely looks natural and tanned from frizz so I’m good with it. I only use this product alone

Nice Juicy Curls
Love this! My hair is dry and curly and usually sucks up all the product and stays looking dry. But not with Jackie’s. This has my hair with nice tight curls and it looks healthier. It also makes my curls more coily and juicy looking, my curls usually loosen up throughout the day and fall. But I put this on to damp hair after washing, slept with my silk bonnet and the woke up looking great, even after day two.

Great Smell, Thick Cream Texture
My husband uses this cream every day and I believe it has a very nice smell! However, it does have a very thick texture that can be difficult to work in some times. There have been times I have had to help spot check my husband’s hair to make sure it is totally blended in.I do not think this product is as moisturizing as products my husband has used in the past. His curls come out more “crisp” instead of soft. Because of this it has great hold, but the effect on his hair is that it is definitely noticeable that he has product in his curls. It performs well for most of the day, though his curls will become “frizzy” again if it is humid enough. I have not seen flaking in his hair.

Strong smell, frizzy look
I have used this a couple of times, I did notice the smell, wasnt so bad that I could not wear it but it was def noticable. I didnt like however how frizzy I feel like it made my hair look when it dried.

First of all, I never leave reviews for anything. If I like it I buy it again. I was searching for a new product for my Caucasian fine type 3A to 3B hair. My hair has sometimes been described as lambs wool. Fine and fuzzy. In the past I have had to use 3 to 4 different products to get decent looking curl and eliminate frizz only to have it look like garbage at the end of the day. I came across the Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils Curl La La Defining Curl Custard. The price was right and let me tell you, this is a game changer for me! I thought it may be too heavy for my hair, but nope! I can’t believe how good this product is on my hair. I wash, condition and then apply this my damp hair and comb through. I then scrunch and air dry. My hair does not dry crunchy. I do not have to use any other products at all, just this. It make my curls look freaking fantastic and it is soft. I also have volume! I have not had volume for ages. I don’t want to go to bed at night because my hair still looks soooo good! I recommended this to my daughter who has the same curl type, only all one length. She used it one day and texted me ‘this hair stuff is like “magic”. Yep, Magic. My co-worker was amazed at how good my hair looked and she, being a curly girls also, ordered some right then and there. Aunt Jackie, if I could give this product 100 stars, I would!
