OMG this gel is amazing!!
OMG this gel is amazing!! I have cut myself on our mandolin slicer two times. The first time we used silver nitrate and it burned so bad and turned my flesh black. I bought this gel to try and got my chance a month later. It didn’t burn and immediately stopped the bleeding. I no longer use or touch the mandolin slicer 😁

Not good as a liquid bandage.
It does help stop bleeding, but stays wet for a minimum of 5 minutes for a thin coat. Not much help for cracked fingertips. You’d have to put several thin coats on to fix cracked fingertips, with each coat taking 5 minutes to dry. It took me 30 minutes to seal up my fingertips. After a couple handwashes, you have to do the process all over again.
