Good for my hurting hands.
Built good enough. Not the lightest but tough enough. My hands have a hard time with the trigger type of tool. This is so much easier to use for me as I can use my whole hand. Only issue is picking up metal dog bowls. Seems to slip off easily.

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered these. They work well and help me a lot. I use them to reach stuff and to pick up stuff. The last one I had finally broke, after a very long time and heavy duty use. The plastic handle cracked and I did get a little cut on my hand. I used it cracked until I got the cut. I still recommend it because it lasted so long. However, one caution, if you have weak hands this might be difficult for you to use. It’s a squeeze to use. It picked up dimes, and even large darning needles! It definitely does the job.

These work well and are mostly worth the price paid. They clasp well to the item you are retrieving. The handle functions very easily and is great with the squeeze action rather than the trigger like one.The only downside is that they are not actually heavy duty. I would be afraid to use them on a full jar of something should it fall. Weight may be a problem but they function well for what I need them for most.

Does not perform like in the description. DO NOT BUY! The tips are a hard plastic rubber and does not pick up things that have fallen on the floor or hard to reach places. No grip whatsoever unless you heman the gripper handle. Not good for the elderly or arthritic people.

Made from metal I thought they’d be more durable than the plastic ones and the metal is indeed durable but the plastic grabbers are weak and rigid. They were unsuitable to lift smaller items because the grip is too weak. Only the tips are made of somewhat grabby plastic and even then they were hard to use to get a battery from the floor. Would not recommend

My old grabber broke and I needed a new one mostly for grabbing the handles of the kitchen trash bags out of the outside bin to fill a big garbage bag with on garbage day.I am finding the actual grip on this a little difficult or awkward to use. It’s a little hard for me to squeeze it completely shut and hold it shut while also manouvering the gripped object where I want it.As a result I don’t feel I’m getting the most secure grip on cans, jars or other items on the higher shelves.This means I won’t use it if I’m trying to grab something breakable as I’m concerned it will slip out. It can be hard to get the angle right for something above my head.It would be great if this locked securely in place once you grabbed something!I imagine my old grabber had a low weight limit on it as well but this one says to not grab anything from overhead that weighs more than 10 ounces so I wish it had a higher load limit on it.I think this grabber is better suited for picking up smaller and lighter things that are at waist level or lower that might be hard to reach rather than for grabbing heavier or larger items which is what I was using my old one for.The actual handle is very sturdy and made of aluminum.It’s just not quite designed right for me since I have small hands and lack grip strength.
