Fantastic Fun!
We originally bought them (we bought two) for the grandkids to play with in our pool. But after they were done, the adult seem to have more fun than the kids, lol.Oh, and our lab can’t get enough. Never figured it would make a great dog pool toy, lolIt does take time to learn all the buttons, but once you do it’s great fun.

Stopped Working in the first 5 minutes.
The stingray looks cool, I really liked the way it looked and the wings of it too and it swam like a stingray too. The concept is good but the way it was made was terrible. The water got inside of it and after 5 minutes of it swimming around the controller stopped working and the stingray just sort of stopped working as well. The light inside kept shining but there was no more movement. Afterwards we brought it back inside to inspect it and it was leaking gross orangey/rusty looking water. I think it was probably the battery inside the stingray and it was leaking. That is very dangerous and the toy was just not made well. It definitely not constructed well, it was cheap and an overall disappointment as we were so excited to see it swim around but it literally worked for less than 5 minutes.

When we moved to a colder area so our above ground pool doesn’t get a ton of use since it’s COOOOOOOLD.We have 2 of these, they are just so much fun! We used the pool to play with these more than anything else! They dive under and come back up, very dexterous.Had to get a gray so more than one kid could play at the same time!

Fun for kids
We haven’t used this yet, our pool is currently closed for the winter, but my son is excited to try it out. Such a fun shape and idea. It looks and feels sturdy. And it was easy to put in batteries. The remote looks straight forward, so it should be easy for my kids to control. I’ll update in the spring if my opinion changes.

A great remote control toy. Usually when you see something that’s remote control and aquatic, it’s a boat. A plan old, boring boat. Nothing fancy about it. But this? It’s a frickin’ stingray! What’s not to love about that! It looks cool and the fact that you can control it is even cooler. I found it works best in a tub or pool, but will still work well in open water too. Just be careful because the waves can toss it around!The connection with the controller worked well too. Keep in mind this isn’t some amazing quality high end $1000 drone though – you need to keep your expectations in line with what you’re paying. It’s not horrible quality by far but don’t expect something indestructible!

Unfortunately this unit arrived with a cracked body. It worked well for a brief period before it quit. Note: It HAS to be in water for the motor to work. On the positive side, it was a blast to use while it worked, and movement was realistic. This would be a lot of summer fun in a pool.
