Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl
I love the taste of this Spiru-Tein shake. It was the first flavor I ever purchase and I will continue to purchase it. The instructions say that it mix instantly that is false. You need to blend it in order for all of the the powder to dissolve. I love adding a dash of cinnamon to enhance the flavor. I’m not a big fan of chocolate so I’m glad this doesn’t have a strong chocolate flavor nor is the peanut butter overpowering. I use this to replace either breakfast or lunch and it keeps me full till next meal time. Please keep in mind that the product contains spirulina so it might have a hint of green after blending it with milk. Also do not try to blend with just water. It will taste awful.

great taste! – tips for mixing
This tastes great! However, the directions say 1 scoop to 8 oz of milk (or other beverage). I usually mix 8 oz of milk, a banana, and a handful of crushed ice (the directions say your beverage needs to be very cold for best results). Put it in the Cuisinart blender, and it increases in volume to at least 16 oz, and then I can’t finish it (it turns dark due to the banana if it is left in the fridge)….so now I do half. Makes the can last a lot longer, helps with the cost, although you get half the nutrients listed on the serving. Still better than wasting it!

Absolutely horrible taste and consistency
I’m not new to the wildly bad flavors of protein/meal replacement powders. I’ve got a few faves from different brands and was looking to expand my meal replacement options. Read through the reviews and thought this would be a great fit! Got it and was excited to try it out, opened the seal, fished out the scoop, and shake one scoop into in 8oz of liquid then down the hatch…yuck!!! This tastes like it’s made of stale peanut butter and cardboard. The thickness in 8oz of liquid nearly made me gag, as it was thick and nearly gelatinous (like a thick ranch dressing consistency, thinking it’s going to be a slightly thicker than water consistency). I have to mix this with at least 10oz minimum to be able to force this down without it being too solid, and thinning it out only worsens the flavor. I paid the money for it and don’t have money to waste throwing it out.All the reviews say this has an amazing taste…all I can say is they must have different taste buds or some way different idea of good tasting things, of the flavors of all the prior meal replacement/protein powders that I have ever tried this I will not purchase again, this flavor or this brand. 🤢
