Just what I needed
2020 Toyota Corolla SEI have a textured dash so I couldn’t use my old stick on magsafe mount in my new car. This didn’t fit where I hoped it would, but I made it work by putting it on the edge of my infotainment screen. It holds my phone very securely, and I’m happy with how well it turns and tilts. It seems to be well made and I believe it will hold up well over time. It works well for me, now I can easily and safely use my navigation while driving.

ok.. so far , its a great product. i had something “similar” before this one. it did a great job, but left on the dash in the Florida sun, it soften, warps and lost its clamping force on the dash. ( not planning to find out if this does better) but this one looks to be a lot sturdier and it had tension adjustments for the supporting arm as well as the head that holds the phone. i use it with a repurposed Galaxy Note 3 with a case as a OBDC reader and it hold the phone nicely.. if its able to support the Note 3 with case.. it will fit 99% of phones out there.. id dare say 100% but you never know. the release mechanism is great.. make it A LOT easier than if it was spring loaded and you had to separate the jaws. after a week of use, i definitely recommend it. oh.. last note. this is being used in a 2005 scion Tc.. the dash/gauges in this car are not flat at all. the kit does come with velcro pads you can stick to the dash to make it more secure.. its a nice addition.. im not using the velcro but still nice to have and would definitely make the holder alot sturdier if you needed it…

Fits 2005 Honda CR-V
Fits decent on the dash hood of my 2005 CR-V. I have it on the far right side and it doesn’t sit flush like in the pictures, but it’s still snug and hold my phone just fine. It would only sit flush on the very top middle, but it’s way too big for it NOT to be distracting, so I recommend putting it on the far right/left instead.The adjustable ball joint lets me rotate my phone in whatever angle I need which is very convenient. The overall build quality is very nice, no harsh edges and no flimsy plastic parts. The phone holder itself feels very sturdy and it holds my heavy Iphone 13 just fine. I do wish the release button was on the back instead of the side, but it’s not too big of an issue. In order to mount this to your car you need to stick the velcro onto your dash, which I’m not too big a fan of since I’m scared it’ll melt off and cause damage. That’s the only main worry I have for this phone holder and I’m very happy with my purchase otherwise!

My wife purchased this Andobil Heavy Duty cell phone holder for thick cellphone cases for me after I was forced to return my Raxfly cellphone holder after it kept automatically releasing my cell phone and lettting it fall to the car floor.So we tested the Andobil with my wife’s Cellphone as it has a thicker battery cellphone case.We drove 140 miles and it was held securely.I thought this is finally the answer!Nope! It was made to handle thick cellphone cases, but not REALLY thick cellphone cases like my WIRELESS battery cellphone case (see the pic). We tried my phone in the holder on a short 7 mile drive and it worked loose twice and would have fallen had I not caught it.I thought here I go again, I gotta return it! But then I thought, I’m probably not going to find one that is much better!Then I had an epiphany! Why not modify it and MAKE it better?!Now the Andobil had two basic problems. Although the side grabbers were nearly as high as my phone case was thick, the foam sides were to too smooth to grab and hold the phone securely. Secondly, the grabbers did not curve over the top of my phone cases’ side, so the phone could fall forward and out. I thought why not make the sides grabbers curve over the sides of the phone case.So I found a scrap piece of 3/4” diameter grey plastic electrical conduit, cut of a 1” section and sawed 3 pieces lengthwise which gave me 3 crescent shaped sections. I took two of those sections, sanded and rounded the corners, and scuffed the surfaces for better adhesion of glue and paint.I then glued each crescent shaped piece to a grabber with a 1/8” overlap and glued them with JB Weld J-B Kwik two part epoxy (see the pics) and let setup for a little over an hour.I then painted each crescent shaped piece with black paint and then added 1/2 of of small tubular weather striping (1/8” wide) and and 1” long beneath each crescent where it would curve over the phone case an act as a soft cushion.I glued them in place with rubber cement and covered them with black liquid electrical tape to further secure them in place, match the phone holder color and increase the holding power.I then installed it in my car and let the J-B Kwik and liquid electrical tape harden over night.Wel, the proof is in the holding! I put my thickly cased cellphone in the holder, went on a 24 mile drive over winding, hilly roads and over speed bumps at 25 miles an hour …the phone never budged! Simple mod solved the problem.Note to Andobil: this mod would not have been necessary if you had made the grabbers taller, curved at the end and covered with a non-slip cushion! It would be so simple in the manufacturing process!!!

This thing worked up until it started getting warm weather, The Velcro sticky became loose and literally shot into my steering wheel while I was driving nearly cause an accident do not buy this if you value your life

I drive a roll off truck and trying to find the best cell phone mount has been troublesome due to bumps and shaking of truck. And placement. This is by far the best mount I’ve stumbled across. Built sturdy and easy to place. You definitely need a lip on dash in order for this mount to work properly.I’m relieved. Definitely recommend.

The finger hold to move the clamp was something I haven’t seen until now. This has a grip like the rest,but they added a place for sticky tape also (can make it even more secure). And it seems even more secure/ well designed on all the joints. All and all, best one I’ve gotten yet.This might be as good as it gets for the price. And on a lot of cars, where else are we going to funtionally put it…? Hence, this is a very car friendly product.
