Effectively helps dig out a buried splinter
These were recommended to me and when I had to use one, it was very effective in digging out a small buried splinter. This quickly got the splinter out & I didn’t need to make a much larger cut like I normally would have. These are basically old style lancets but these are much stiffer so they don’t collapse like thinner metal lancets.

Works Great
We live in the southwest where cactus are everywhere. We have used these when the needles won’t easily pull out.

Instructions
Something as simple as this shouldn’t require instructions. I remember using it at a clinic once but was shown how to hold it, which side to poke into?? I tried to look on the internet but only old material were available.. I must have figured it out bc my 5 yr old was content afterward when I pulled/pushed the sliver out🤷🏽♀️

Must have
My partner describes it as 100 timesbetter than tweezers and nail clippers. We tried with tweezers and nail clippers a few days ago which didn’t work.In our case, the end of wood stick was burried underneath the skin. We use this tool to create a minimal opening and finish the job with a twizzer.

Small but mighty!
So glad to have come across these splinter removers! It did the trick for a small splinter that found a home in the palm of my hand. I did not feel like trying to search for something akin to a sewing needle to attempt minor surgery on my hand with it. So…. Amazon to the rescue… 🙂 I highly recommend these and they definitely have now found a home in my medicine cabinet.
