Great product, bad serving size
Product seems like it’s great quality with no fillers or additives. Color is slightly lighter when compared to beet powder form my local natural food store, but it tastes the exact same and it seems to just be ground much more finely is all. But the serving size might be dangerously high (per the nutrition label – 1oz). Consuming beet powder likely increases nitrate levels in the blood, but having too high of nitrate levels can be dangerous. A serving size of 1oz is probably too much for most people, I’m 6’6″ at 200lbs and it’s too much for me. Talk to your doctor and do your own research to figure out what an appropriate amount to consume is for you.

I used to mix in smoothies with other fruits and vegetables. Depending on how much I use is how deep of an earthy flavor I get. Does not change flavor of berry smoothie but definitely gives it a deeper color. One of the better beet powders I have used.

I could not be more disappointed by this product as advertised as organic, raw, non-GMO, and pure. Beets have a strong taste and I can not taste the beet flavor. I went to return and there is a non-return policy. This is a bad business decision not to take back a product, that is FOOD! I do not know what I drank, can’t lie when you can’t taste the beets. I have been drinking beet juice for a while and have known the taste now for 55 1/2 years. Don’t purchase because if it’s not beets than what is it? Buy from people who have a return policy so you know they stand by their product. I don’t have $40.00 to waste on 8 lbs of what ever it is…
