Love the one-piece design, screen is hard to read when I’m wearing the device
I really like the one-piece design of this blood pressure monitor. It’s similar to the one my doctor gave me for 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. It’s much less bulky than my old monitor and stores away neatly, and I don’t have to worry about the stethoscope tube getting kinked. I also really like that it has a rechargeable battery and a long battery life.The readings I get with this monitor are similar to the ones I get with my trusty old Omron. It provides all the usual relevant data, including heart rate and an irregular heartbeat warning. You can set it up to store readings for two different users, and it can store up to 90 readings per user. The cuff is very large. It would probably fit an elephant. It’s also a bit stiff, so it’s difficult to pull tight. I find the screen to be hard to read when I am wearing the device. At this particular angle, there’s a glare on it that makes it difficult to distinguish active from inactive LCD segments. The monitor comes with an instruction booklet that’s a bit confusing, but it is generally fairly easy to use. Note that you will probably have to reset the time and date. Mine was off by a couple of years.

I was looking forward to using the new instrument, but it was very inconvenient to use. One person couldn’t operate it well. I think its design was flawed.

Inconsistent Readings, Hard to Read While Wearing!
I was expecting a steady blood pressure machine to keep at home, but this one is notoriously unreliable. Within 20 minutes, I got 161/88, 113/72, and 149/88, and it’s not worth trying to work out my blood pressure from all that. The large LCD screen is an advantage, but only if you have to take the device off to see your results clearly.It comes with a USB-C charging cable, storage pouch, and instruction manual, which is convenient. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery, which is an added advantage since it saves the use of disposable batteries. The monitor has two memory slots where two people can take their readings separately. Also, time/date can be adjusted.On the good side, it is comfortable to wear, and the arm cuff is a decent size (9″ to 17″ range), but what is the point if the readings are unstable? I can’t rely on this for consistent health monitoring.
