This is a great feature that is lacking in most outdoor cushions.Why is it a great feature? It’s a great feature because it keeps the insert material dry and clean. With most outdoor cushions the insert sooner or later gets discolored, dirty, contaminated by fine particles of dust and pollen, dust mites, water, molds, bacteria, odors, spilled drinks and various other unwanted accidental intrusions.It’s like a mattress (it actually is a mattress, just a small one), and like other mattresses it would eventually becomes smelly and gross if unsealed. It’s much better to seal it off completely from all intrusions, spills, and accidents, to prevent the intractable grossness from happening in the first place.These cushions also have a waterproof layer laminated to the back of the cover material. It’s on the inside, so it isn’t against your skin, which is a good thing. But it provides another layer of protection, and it makes the cushion covers easier to spot clean and keep clean. Many other outdoor cushion covers do not have this laminated TPU waterproof layer at all, and all kinds of things can and do pass through to the insides of the cushions (despite all the false claims of waterproofness, which are usually just false marketing hyperbole, in the case of most other cushions).The zippers, the piping, the stitching, and the overall construction is top-tier for both the Fabuday and the Cozyide.Four stars feels a little low for such fine cushions, but I gave them four stars simply because of the superior fabric and feel of the Cozyide outdoor cushions. ( I have no connection with Cozyide, by the way. My only connection is with being useful and honest in the reviews I write.)

Great quality cushion
This cushion set is super comfortable. It did take a while for the foam to fully inflate but it was worth it. I would say the width is about 3 inches or so. It fits my outdoor chair perfectly. The material seems to be of a very sturdy grade. I didn’t test out the waterproof feature but it would seem to work well. The color is a vibrant blue (between a royal and a navy). The price is a little steep for only one chair cushion set (bottom and back cushion) but the quality is great.

These are patio chair cushions. The seat cushion is pretty thin, especially compared to our other patio cushions which are twice as thick. The back cushion is shredded foam, not very thick or comfortable, and low.The seat cushion has tie ons, but the back cushion does not.Spend more, and get better quality!

firm seat cushion and sheds water nicely
I got this cushion set to put in chairs that have had no cushions for several years now ever since my late English Mastiff tore them apart in late puppyhood. Now the next dog is ready to have his destructiveness tested. Hagrid, Destroyer of Dog Beds, has surprised me by leaving his latest dog bed intact for over a month so maybe he has matured since the days he tore apart books and chewed up my toilet plunger. Maybe Hagrid will permit me to have nice things again. Which these are; they are covered with a solid fabric and the seat cushion is firm and supportive while the back cushion is soft. These aren’t really meant to withstand destructive 115lb mastiff mixes, so since I can’t supervise him every moment he is out there I am putting out one and hoping it will survive, but so far so good. Yesterday I went out and it had some beads of water on it. I swiped my hand across it and wiped them off and then sat down. It did not make my lightweight yoga pants wet, so I think it shed water well. I’d really like to get some more of these for the rest of the chairs if Hagrid leaves this one intact.After trying similar cushions from 2 additional brands on Amazon (Eniphate and SunRox) I’d like to make a few additions. First, brands seem to measure the back pillows differently. Some brands (Eniphate) give the actual fabric dimensions (unstuffed dimensions) while this brand (Fabuday) provides dimensions closer to what the pillow is fully stuffed. As a result this Fabuday back pillow is wider than the Eniphate back pillow even though both are listed as being 24″ wide. This back pillow was more comfortable than Eniphate; I think it probably had higher quality stuffing. This Fabuday seat cushion was firmer, but I preferred the Eniphate seat cushion because it gives a little softer seat while this Fabuday seat cushion is so firm it doesn’t depress much under my 225lb behind. The Fabuday fabric felt strongest out of the 3. Overall I thought both this Fabuday and the Eniphate sets are similar values.
