Effective for keeping warm water
I used this to keep the dogs water warm during the 20s temperatures . My dogs have a camper and their water was placed inside of the camper, even though they had a heating source,water keep freezing. Luckily this device works very well for a 5 gallon bucket. Looks durable too and it’s very easy to install.

It didn’t heat at all, it was warm to the touch but never got up to temperature. I got the 10gallon one. I missed the return window by two days. Oh well at least it was cheap. Just spend the extra money and get a name brand.

Product did work as described. Inexpensive aquarium heater for 5.5 gallon tank. The thermometer sticker and the dial on the heater did not agree. After 2 days the thermometer is still about 2 to 3 degree off. I have not use a digital thermometer to test the water temperature. I’m not too worry as the water is much warmer than it was before. Time will tell how long the heater will continue to function. I like the ability to change the temperature. It also has a red light to indicate heating. It does what it should for a budget aquarium heater.

Great for large tanks
This heater was great. I upgraded my turtle’s tank and the green heater wasn’t enough. This one heated the tank to 78 within an hour. It was chilly to the touch before then. I would absolutely buy again!
