Cute little figurine
I really like my dancing Groot, for some reason I always wanted a bobblehead in my car. It’s a very nice decoration. Used some painters tape on the dash and then double sided tape to affix it because it is not very heavy to stand alone.I like the functionality of the “dancing” head as you drive over bumps or uneven patches of the road. Seems it is built well and with attention to the smallest detail like the arms and the leaves on top of the head .It might have been a bit cheaper, but i guess you have to pay for the franchise too. Overall it’s a very cheerful little guy who smiles at you all the time and I think it would be a nice and inexpensive gift to someone.

it is excellent, and would be 5 star
Received mine today. As stated before, No it does not dance, if is a Dancing Groot Bobble head Action Figure (as stated in the title.) For that purpose, it is excellent, and would be 5 star. It is a bit top heavy, so unless you secure it to a base, or other solid object, it can tip over. That is the reason for dropping it to a 4 star.A little bit of poster putty, or some decent 2 sided tape should fix this problem. I have lots of these ridiculously cute collectibles, but baby bobble head Groot is my new fave. It is adorable beyond words. The image currently on display is an artist rendering, however–the pot is much smaller (it is REALLY teeny) and the one I got is darker in color and has other slight differences. This is just for informational purposes–it is still frikkin cute and I do not regret buying it. I actually regret not buying 2. I saw an article declaring 2014 the year of the Groot–if that is the case, then this is crown jewel of the Groot-themed merchandise lines. Not because it is the biggest, most elaborate or expensive, but because it is the most adorable and accessible. Mine was under 10 bucks, a cheap enough price point for almost anyone to get one who wants one. And you can’t help but smile when you look at him.

Don’t know why people were expecting a mechanical dancing figure when it clearly says “bobble head” on the box… but don’t let the incompetence of others detract you from getting and enjoying this funk pop piece. In my honest opinion this is the best rendition of any of the other dancing Groot figure that are out there, even the more expensive one’s don’t capture the feel of dancing Groot. This piece looks awesome on display and it’s very simple and clean looking, but still has enough detail to convey the image of the character. This would look nice on a work space or desk or anywhere really. If you’d really like him to dance you can put him on top of a subwoofer or take some double sided tape and stick him on your dash board while blasting some Jackson 5 and he’ll definitely dance, and if you really want to you can just violently shake him in your hands…although his head might come off.All in all if you’re a fan of the Guardian series or just like groot or you want a nice little display piece for your workspace I’d definitely recommend this figure.
