AMAZING stem toy. Great price!
My kids go crazy for this stuff. I love the way they just sit down with it and crate whatever their little imaginations come up with. It doesn’t have scent like other products. The color variety is fun. The foam is stimulating and keeps the kids calm and entertained.The price is great. When I tried to buy the Play-Doh version, i noticed it was much more expensive.The foam also holds up well. My kids have been plying with theirs for months.

Purchased as Christmas gift for 7 yrs old. She has had such a blast with this. And even mixed them. Our toddler plays with them also. Non toxic is a plus. they do not dry out. Beautiful colors. No nasty smells. Fun for allllll ages!

My children were gifted a ton of play-dough for Christmas and after the 4 billionth time they asked to play with it (to which I again said “maybe later”) I went onto Amazon looking for a better alternative. And here it is! As other reviews have said, my kids immediately put it into one giant ball, but each ball holds its own against the others and doesn’t look bad. My kids have also used this on many surfaces and it never once stained or stuck. I have noticed that sometimes I’ll find one little ball stuck to something (or someone) but it’s rare. Just last night my oldest pushed it onto her face to make an imprint and it didn’t stick to her face or hair at all. It does feel a bit sticky when you’re playing with it but once you stop holding it your hands don’t feel sticky at all. So far I’ve had this for a month and it hasn’t dried out even though we leave it out on the counter – it gets played with every single day. My one tiny complaint is about this package, not the product – that is, I didn’t realize the bottom 4 colors are glitter. Granted, if you look really closely you can see that those colors are called “sparkle” but it doesn’t mention glitter in the product description anywhere. I hate glitter so I threw them away, but this was only about $1 more than the 4 pack so I’m not too upset about it.Update 1/6/18 – So the original batch lasted about 3/4 months before getting too dirty to play with any more (it got dropped a lot and may or may not have taken a trip on the dog once or twice). However, it never dried out, and the new batch we got has held up longer (kids are older/drop it less…). I’d still highly recommend it.

3 stars and yet I’m buying a second one…
They say that this product will not dry out and I have not tested that, hopefully that is at the very least true. My issue, it says it’s a great stocking stuffer, which with two kids, I thought would be fun to split them between the two. But the packaging makes this impossible. The packaging is not reusable. You can not put them back into the packaging to store. Once they are open, that’s it. I’m guessing we’ll just store it in a ziplock baggy… This is where I really appreciate play-doh coming in a storage container. but it’ll be fine, it’s something different and instead of splitting it between my kids, I just got a second one… so yay, win for the company that designed this packaging, you got me to buy two…

Cool filler for sensory activities
Vibrant colors. Slight sparkle/glitter to them. Unique texture. Independent play is a gradual skill. This was a very simple but fun activity where I hid some wooden alphabet letters in a marine like theme. He enjoyed scooping, finding items and mixing the colors. Definitely not for a toddler that still puts things in their mouth but if the concept is understood then this is a remarkable filler for creative play. This is a perfect rainy or hot day activity. Put the mixed colors in a gallon zip lock bag for the next round of fun.

If you don’t use a container to put it in you will regret it. Size is great. Scent isn’t too bad. Quality is cool. Functions wired in my terms but does what it’s supposed to. The color appears vibrant.

Very Messy and Skin Irritant
I received this product today and was super excited to use it. I bought it with the intent of using it as a stress ball/fidget item. This product, however, has caused me a lot of stress instead of relieving it.For starters, it is rock hard upon opening. It is a five to ten minute process of massaging each section of Playfoam to even get it to a point of usability. From that point, it becomes EXTREMELY messy. Little foam balls began sticking to my hands once the product becomes malleable. It would take several frustrating minutes of picking the little pieces off before I could put away each section of Playfoam. Additionally, each time that I would play with the Playfoam I would end up with a significant layer of the adhesive that’s used to keep the foam together on my hands.However, the MOST frustrating part of this product is the irritation thatcher skin on my hands developed immediately afterwards. My hands began to burn, itch, and feel tight about fifteen minutes into my interaction with the Playfoam. Despite washing my hands several times and applying OTC hydrocortisone cream, my hands STILL feel massively uncomfortable, even though it’s been eight hours since I had contact with the product. As a result of the irritation, I am now unable to accomplish any of the plans that I had for my day as I have to keep reapplying cream to my hands and then wear cotton gloves in between applications of the cream in order to stave off the intense discomfort that I feel.Frustratingly, the packaging is basically unable to be reassembled upon opening so now I am stuck with a product that I’m allergic to.This was a total waste of money. I don’t recommend this product in the slightest.

We tried this after getting sick of trying to get playdough out of the living room carpet. This stuff looked as though it might be easier to clean up as the piece are a fixed size, they look like tiny little polystyrene balls, brightly coloured and mixed through with some sort of semi sticky mastic that gives the whole thing a similar feel to a rice crispy square. So far it seems like an improvement over playdough, as even though a small number of the small beads transfer regularly into hair and hands, they definitely do come out easily. The children find it mildly infuriating that the different colours stick together so well, even with only brief and accidental contact, but at least given the bead size, they can separated and regrouped with a certain amount of patience. The resolution of the crafted parts is very low, so you can’t do fine detail and have to think big, but it doesn’t seem to diminish the enjoyment.As this was the first time we bought this product we tried the cheapest version we could find which didn’t include any storage containers or travel cases – so time will tell if the bold ‘NEVER DRIES OUT’ claim holds true! Currently highly recommended, if you understand the limitations.

Das Set ist viel grösser als ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Für den Preis echt viel KnetSchaum. Meine 2 jährige formt damit kleine Figuren und Türme, dabei fühlt sich das ganze etwas klebrig an und zieht Fäden. Es bleiben allerdings keine Rückstände an den Händen oder Oberflächen. Die unteren Farben sind mit leichtem Glitzer versetzt, sieht nett aus und kommt gut an.
