Heavy but fantastic!
I’m an extremely large woman and I’ve always worried that my aluminum crutches weren’t going to hold me up. Then the under-the-arm support broke on my old aluminum crutches and I had to have a new pair. At first I thought I was never going to get over how heavy these are to simply manipulate as I transfer from wheelchair to a different chair. I even thought of using them as weights for forearm strengthening. I still struggle leaning them some place temporarily. I’m always concerned that they might fall on me or my small dog. They truly could kill him. I’ll never be able to carry them very far (like a trip down the block to the grocery store, in my wheelchair), but the rest of the time I love how heavily I can lean on them with complete confidence. I cannot express that strongly enough. If you’re really heavy set and you sometimes worry that your crutches are going to collapse……even if they probably never would……buy these. You’ll never worry about that again.

Weigh a ton! Could be used as struts for aircraft landing gear. Nope! Too heavy for that too! Not as described. Had to pay return shipping despite receiving lousy product. Might be good if King Kong needed support.

Perfect crutches for oversized persons to use. I am 6′ and 310#–so not a little guy, and these crutches make me feel safe while using them. I broke my leg in 2 places, and as I transitioned from a walker to crutches, it was very important to me to feel safe. Price was about 1/3 what our local healthcare supply wanted to charge me, and they had to order them in as well. I ordered on Saturday and had my crutches on Tuesday.
