Armor All My Go To Wash Pad
I have used cheap and kind of OK sponges over the years and managed all right, but actually, they were never optimal and @ times really marginal @ best. The Armor All Wash Pad’s contoured shape and thick microfiber are great for my large hands and gets most of the light to medium dirt, bugs, and the rest off easily. They are comfortable to use and clean up in the washing machine. I also am going to the “one for the wash bucket and one for the rinse bucket” approach. I just now ordered my second wash pad. Now, the price seems a bit hight to me, but if they hold up and are durable enough for an extended period of use I’ll feel like they have earned the Five Star I am giving them.

Not a fan of the microfiber
I thought I’d give this microfiber sponge a try cause I’ve never had one before, but this sponge definitely isn’t my favorite. Everything gets stuck in the sponge and the sponge is really hard to clean out. That’s bad cause then you’ll be washing your car with a sponge that has pokey things stick to it. And if you accidentally drop it on the ground while you’re washing your car, good luck trying to get all the grass and leaves out of it. I got so fed up with this sponge that eventually I threw it away but then it occurred to me I could’ve just cut the microfiber off. So that’s what I did and I was left with a decent sponge that I will still use to wash my car.
