    Thorough, helpful report
I think having a compilation of superfoods handy is necessary and helpful. After awhile, you’ll start to know these by memory, but this is a helpful reference. But it’s more than that – thanks for the recipes, which span a whole week’s worth of interest to get you started down the superfoods path.We started eating superfoods about 8 years and 60 pounds ago. After awhile it’s possible to forget those foods you’re “supposed” to buy in the store. I wish I would’ve had a book like this by my side for reference along the way. We learned some foods in here we hadn’t tried yet, too. It’s broken down and categorized nicely, into sections such as fruits, grains, protein, oils etc. That’s great! Thanks Jennifer.

Very brief, but right to the point
Well written. Right to the point, very concise. I thought “blueverries” would have been listed, but did not see them, even though they were in some of the recipes.

    Laundry list
I appreciate the efforts of the author to compile this list of foods that are excellent to have in your diet. Anyone who encourages others to eat well and take their health into their own hands should be commended. However unless you’re new to eating well, this doesn’t present anything you didn’t probably already know. The book is structured as a list and has little substantial text that puts it all in real world day to day terms. If you went to the grocery store produce section and wrote down everything you see, you’d end up very close to this book. I would suggest the author relate how this information can be put into action (wether that be recipes, anecdotes about people who switched to eating super foods and it changed their lives, etc). Overall good information, but I would have liked if it were pulled together in a more meaningful way.

This book is good starting off point
I don’t know who Jennifer James is, but she put together a pretty good list of foods and what they can do for your health. Not a lot of fluff, it is direct and to the point. I think this book is good starting point for looking at what we eat. The one week meal plan and recipes at the end where a surprise. I am definitely going to try the smoothy.

    Love the menu plans
The real difference between this book and all the others on the subject is that it actually includes menu plans. It’s all very well to know these foods are good for you, but you need to know how to get them into your diet. This book actually does this, which is fantastic.Another point worth mentioning is that most of the foods listed are easy to find. Thank goodness!

Great info in here! Loved this book!
I really liked this book. Of course, I always knew processed food is bad for you but it is great to see just exactly how some of my favorite foods are helping me and my brain – and my family too! Last night we combined some of the recommended fruits to make a non-alcoholic pina colada – yummy! Thanks!

Good guide to have on hand
I’ve known about super food for the brain for some time but I don’t always remember which ones when I’m making my list. This guide is an easy way for me to remember. The chapters are broken down into food groups as an added convenience. The Satay Chicken with Wild Rice and Tomato Salad looks is definitely on my list to try as I love wild rice.

There were some foods listed that I’d never tried and will have to look out for! The menu section at the back is great also and I can’t wait to try a couple out.
