Easy to use and take a long when traveling. Makes my beard soft and straight. Works well for the price, but can pull hairs. I blow dry my beard first, then use a protectant spray to reduce it ripping out hairs. The issue may be the spacing or thickness of the combs. I may step up to a more expensive product in the future, but this does the job.

Works great, but there’s power issues
When this works, it’s great. Unfortunately I think there’s an issue with wiring on the part of the power cord that connects to the brush (I don’t know the technical terms). It fully rotates and I think it eventually loosens the wires.I’ve bought two so far. This first lasted about three months. With the second I was very careful on how the power cord rotated and it lasted 7 months.I’m assuming I could open it up and fix the problem, but I don’t have those skills.Fair warning, it does get very hot, so don’t use it until your beard is dry, because you’ll eventually burn your face.As far as straightening the beard, it’s amazing. My beard is slightly wavey, so when it gets over a couple inches in length it can start looking like a mess. This product exceeded my expectations on functionality.Five stars if there weren’t power issues.

I have a short beard from 1/2” on the sides to 2” in length on my chin. I wanted something to help straighten it out because it curls a bit under the corners of my mouth. I didn’t want to try chemicals, so after trying a blow dryer (which worked pretty well), I figured why not try this thing. I was skeptical, but it works even better than a blow dryer. I use it right after I get out of the shower or wash my face when my beard isn’t completely dry. It’s a heated brush that actually gets pretty hot, but won’t burn your skin. This is easier and gives you more control than a blow dryer. I also use it for the hair on my head sometimes, when it’s being stubborn. Give it a shot! I love it.

I’ve bought a few of these from different “big” name brands. None of them got the desired look I was trying to get. They just did not straighten and hold. I felt like this was a temperature issue. When I got this one I noticed that there are three ranges of temperatures. I also noticed it felt better in my hand than the cordless I had tried. The middle temperature was perfect for me. It works very well and heats up fast. In the morning I plug it in and turn it on. By the time I’ve brushed my teeth the brush is hot enough for me to use. The value I get from this brush was higher than brushes 3x the price.

Was used every weekday as part of my morning grooming routine at the medium heat setting, never came anywhere near water, suddenly no longer powers on as of today. Plugged in, pressing or holding the power button gets no response. Very disappointed as I was just starting to really understand how best to use it for my own beard, it had been an essential piece of my morning grooming routine.
