Works great with the DJI OM5!
I have a phone that has a wide case and this is perfect and allows me to attach my DJI to the gimble!!

It works with a Pixel 7 and an Otterbox case but…
It works. You have to really wedge it in there to stay stable. I don’t think it would work with a larger phone (like the Pixel 7 Pro). That being said, if you’re buying this because you wan to keep your case, let me say that if your power and volume buttons are near the middle of your phone, you still won’t be able to use the DJI Gimbal with this extension because you’ll still be forced to put the phone off centered, and the DJI Gimbal won’t be able to stabilize that.

Works well.
This is the perfect solution to having your phone it’s cover. So glad they made this.
So And So –
Oh no it’s garbage.
It has a notch in the middle which make it almost impossible for the thing to securely hold a wide phone or a slim phone in a slim case.DO NOT BUY THIS. Save your money.

Doesn’t hold up phone
I bought this because I have the iPhone 13 and needed this extension add on, but doesn’t even hold up my phone with the stabilizer.

Perfect
I can now easily connect my phone with case no problem.

Don’t lose them
These things are great and they’re very durable they’re able to hold large phones like mine which is some s22 Ultra I have written bicycles with this this little clamp hanging on for deer life and it never fell once yet. A little awkward sometimes when you’re trying to get it on And if you have a large phone It will stretch the original clamp to its max and I’m not sure what’s going to do in the long-term to the original clamp that comes with the gimbal I’m using an 0m5

Holy wow does this not work on large phones
For large phones that need to use the outer notch, yeah this thing aint gonna work. The gimbal’s motors simply aren’t strong enough to overcome that disadvantage in leverage and it just flops down. It might work better using the smaller notch for smaller phones, but if that’s your scenario then the stock clamp is liable to work just as well. I’m just not quite seeing the use case here when it’s held so far the electronics it’s designed for can’t keep up. Would’ve been better if the closer notch were large enough to hold big phones. Sure it might still struggle, but closer to the pivot the motors might have had a chance
