Maybe size up?
I got a medium and my measurements are:Bust: 35inWaist: 26.5inHips: 39inHeight: 5ft 7in (Short torso)Which should make me almost a little too small for the medium, however the elastic waist hits closer to my bra line than my natural waist, which is far less than ideal since my waist is my favorite physical attribute. In the video I have pulled the front down which has hiked up the elastic in the back and tied the belt flattened out a little below the elastic line to bring the waistline down as much as possible making it more flattering in my opinion. If I was to order this again I personally would size up, especially since with the belt it doesn’t matter if the waist was a little too big since I could simply tie it in. So, if you want the elastic to hit closer to your under bust then I would go with your recommended size. If you want it a little lower I’d size up once though that may make it fit a little loose. I really like the material; it is breathable, has sort of a rustic feel to it and it has a lining that is softer. The color is a sort of off-white like Ivory which is what I was hoping for. It does wrinkle if you let it cool in the dryer but if that bothers you, It doesn’t take more than a quick steam to get them out. There are what looks to be small blue pen marks beside each of the buttons as if they were marking where the buttons were supposed to go and maybe use the wrong kind of pen. I didn’t take a star off because I didn’t even notice until I was going around checking the stitching of the dress which is good. Oh and I almost forgot to mention it is not see-through which is forever important with white dresses. You don’t even have to stick with nude colored undergarments. The buttons are real so you can breastfeed in it if that’s relevant for you. I am very happy with it. It’ll be another summer staple for me

Not as expected
I liked that this dress is lined on the top and bottom so it is not see through and the fabric has a nice linen like feel. I didn’t like how it fit me though. I am 5’7″ and 145 lbs so the the medium size fit but I am long waisted and the elastic waist fit way too high on my body. The tiered layers on the bottom of the dress made my look wide in the hips. The fabric is very heavy so it did not drape well over the body. I ordered the Apricot color but the dress looked to be a very pale yellow. It looks more of a cream-colored dress in the pictures and that is the color I thought it would be. I returned it because it was not very flattering on me and I did not like the color.

Great for warmer weather, no lining
I was under the impression that the yellow color had a lining but it does not. The description for the beige and white colors state that those colors have a lining, so be mindful of that if you read the description for a lighter color but then select a different color. The pockets and tag on the side are slightly noticeable but that is expected due to the color. But a positive is that this dress has pockets!The yellow color is more of a golden yellow color and is not too sheer. The yellow is more of a golden yellow color just like the photo as opposed to the brighter yellow color shown in one of the videos with the model. I used different lighting in my photos to show how the color may slightly differ based on background lighting and screen resolution.The quality is good. I prewashed the dress according to the instructions on the label (wash in warm water and tumble dry on low) and the dress did shrink a little lengthwise. Next time I will wash on cold and then hang dry. The fabric is lightweight and will be great to stay cool during the warmer months. The dress fit is to my liking and it fits comfortably. I used the dress measurements listed further down in this listing to choose the dress size as opposed to the size guide.

Light weight linen dress for summer weather
The material is linen, so you know that it’s going to be light weight and see through. When you wear linen, you’ll need to wear a base under shirt and since this is a dress, you’ll need to wear a slip. But what is so great is that linen is breathable and is one of the most light weight materials you can wear for summer weather. The cotton material is made combined with viscose which helps keep the shape of the linen and allows the color to not fade over time. If the viscose is made from bamboo it could be more environmentally friendly bing made from trees but the description does not state how it’s made.The included belt is not attached to the dress. The pockets fit the smaller sized I-phones and larger phone would probably mostly fit and should still stay in place due to the angle the pocket is sewn. Linen fabric wrinkles and can be taken out by steaming option for five minutes or less on your dryer or by using a steamer that is not a hot plate iron. Don’t use an iron on this material. The dress is true to size and color. The waist design is correct and is higher but that’s the type of design and not a flaw and this is the style I prefer.

New favorite spring dress!
This dress is so flattering! A nice breezy lightweight but not in a cheap way – just a perfect spring and summer weight dress. Material is nice and irons nicely. The slight puff sleeves are super flattering. With the bow tie belt you really can accommodate any size waist in a flattering way. Dress is sewn nicely, feels beautiful on and I just know it’s going to be a wardrobe staple moving into spring. Super pleased with this one!!

Color red does not look like the picture.
I bought the red dress; however, the color is more like coral than red! I decided to keep it anyway since the price is good.The picture shows the “red” dress next to the true red purse.
