I have no idea how they managed to pack all this stuff into the one little box. This is ideal little set that allows you to have fun with kids big and small. The golf clubs that come with it are nicely weighted and are telescopic so easy to put away. There are 6 golf balls, a couple of them light up on movement (I suspect you can’t change the batteries on these).The fun but that the kids just love is the dinosaur ball return, so when you hit the ball into the mouth of the dinosaur, it roars and then returns the ball. There are golf tees and you can put the balls on top and get your little ones ready for playing off a tee. It has a mat that allows for a smooth travel of the balls. It also has some plastic holes that have some little flags that you put on and this allows you to also aim for them along with the dino ball return.The ball return takes a couple of AA batteries, there are also some stickers that you can stick on for the eyes for the dino ball return (it has a number of stickers to allow you to do that).At this price point and value, it’s a worthwhile purchase for some great fun for the family.

The Duncurins and their grandson aged 2y 6m had a fabulous time with this golf set. It is perfect for a rainy day and a great way of engaging in active play that doesn’t involve some sort of ‘screen’. Just about everything you need is in the box. The clubs are telescopic so it means that younger players can adjust the length of the club to suit them and also makes for easy packing away back in the box.Of especial delight is the putter enclosure that returns the golf balls to you. This is fabulous and our grandson was delighted by this alone , so fascinated in fact that he took to bypass the golf game and sat on the floor trying to roll the balls into the receiver from varying distances. The other delight were the two white balls that are translucent and light up with flashing LEDs as they roll.The playing mat is a teeny bit short for a full game and also tends to remain a bit creased as one unrolls it. This could be remedied by rolling it back on itself or maybe with a low temp iron on the reverse side. In any event the game soon extends beyond the confines of the mat and a low pile carpet or even hard floor is perfect for the game which of course can be expanded as one’s skills develop.All in all this was a super way to get hands-on play and spend some family time with a little mini golf course of one’s own. This is a great children’s golf set, great for rainy days as it can easily be played inside.You get 6 golf balls, 2 green, 2 black and 2 white ones which light up and look fantastic. You also get 3 clubs with telescopic handles which is great for folding down and storing away when not in use and then, 2 golf holes, 1 green and 1 black, the ball returner, 3 flags used with the golf holes and ball returner and then the golf mat.The golf mat arrives rolled up and therefore doesn’t sit flat and needs weighing down, it would have been a little better if it was folded.The ball returner requires 2 x AA which are not included. The ball returner lights up and does a great job at returning the ball.The ball holes work quite well and both me, my husband and my nephew had fun playing with it although I did find the golf clubs a little short for me to use but as it is aimed at children, that is to be expected. As the golf club handles are telescopic it does mean you can shorten them for smaller children which is a great idea.It is a lovely set that can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors and at it’s current price of £16.99 I would say that it is excellent value and well worth the money.

My house mate took this into the primary school where she works for the kids to test out and apparently it went down a storm. She said one of the big plus points was being able to adjust the club length so that kids of all sizes could join in. The LED balls were super cool and all the kids obviously love the automatic ball returning system. You don’t have to be especially into golf as a sport, this is more of a game for kids to enjoy. It would be great at family gatherings for example.In no time at all you can set up your own mini golf game and have a lot of inclusive fun. It’s a cool toy at a really great price for what you get and the hours of fun it provides.

Great little golf set to keep the kids occupied on a rainy day.Comes with a roll-up putting green, tees, targets with flags, clubs and a target that autmatically fires the balls back to you.The clubs have retractable handles, so can be adjusted easily to any length and the balls are either luminous or have flashing lights inside.Nice and compact when packed away. Great fun and good value at less than £20.
