Terrific for night time TV Watching
I wear hearing aids all day. At night I take them out and use the earbuds for TV watching. The good news is you can have the tv sound and the earbuds working at the same time. This works great for us as my wife can watch with the tv volume and I can hear through the earbuds. I often only use one earbud so I can converse with her while watching. Then, since she is usually asleep before me, I turn down the tv sound, put both earbuds in and I am in business. This is a terrific little devise and well worth the price. I highly recommend it especially for anyone that has hearing issues like I do.Update: I have been using the Avantree earbuds almost nightly since I purchased them in January. Up until a few week ago, they never let me down. Then something strange happened. My wife decided to use her set one evening while I was sleeping. She could not get the earbuds to connect. Her commotion woke me and I tried to reconnect with no success. Then I suggested using mine but found out mine were not working either. I tried everything I could think of with no success. The next day, I contacted Avantree and they responded almost immediately via email. After going through several attempts and following their direction I figured it out and am now an expert of sorts. My wife never really liked the earbuds prefering using over the ear headphones. Since I was now pretty up to speed on how the system worked, I grabbed her wireless JVC headphones, went through the prompts, and she is now a happy customer using her JVC headphones to listen to TV sound through the Avantree provided transmitter. Wonderful. Thank you Avantree.Update 2: I have been using my Avantree earbuds for a little over a a year and 1/2 now pretty much every night. Our routine is my wife goes to sleep. Well, my primary earbuds finally starting getting staticky like there was loose wiring. Realizing I had a second pair that came with the original purchase, I linked those up to position one on my transmitter. The problem was every time I disconnected the earbuds, I had to reset them to the transmitter. After following all the suggestions online without getting results, I contacted Avantree support. After a couple emails, the agent suggested a call. We connected and within a few minutes, the issue was resolved. Basically, we had to factory reset the transmitter and then linked the second pair to position one as primary. Happy that I was back in business, the agent also noted that the purchase was still under warranty and suggested sending a replacement set of earbuds for the broken ones at no cost. They did just that and I now have a new set of earbuds ready to go should the ones I am now using fail. By the way, my wife continues to use the over the ear JVC wireless headphones with the Avantree transmitter with no issues. I have to say Avantree goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I highly recommend them.

Bought these earbuds so my hard of hearing husband and I can watch TV together without blasting the volume. We just mute the tv altogether.Easy for a boomer like me to connect receiver to optical port with one cable. However, everything is included for various types of connections.Helpful hints:Remember to activate Bluetooth setting on TV if it is available and you are using the optical port type of connection.These buds are stereo with right and left buds. To fit comfortably, they need to be worn correctly. The on/off button should always be over your right shoulder. Once you figure how to properly wear the buds they are extremely comfortable.Easiest way for me to turn on is to stick left earbud in and then press and hold on/off button until I hear “your device is on”. Count to about 20 and wait to hear “your device is connected”. If you don’t hear that message, tap the on/off button again briefly.Once you get the hang of connecting, you’re good to go.The sound is sooo much better than the speakers on our new Samsung smart TV.Love that we can each adjust the volume on our earbuds independently.Range is good. I can walk most places in my house and still hear the tv through them.Buds are pretty good at muffling outside noise, so discussing while you’re watching is not easy. A plus or minus depending on your point of view.Battery can last all night. To save battery, turn off if away from tv for a little while, and remember to plug in to charger when done watching.I found the “stand” to be virtually useless. Don’t use it. Don’t care.Bottom line: love these earbuds. Often wear them while watching TV alone just because sound is so much better.

Clear sound, good value
Setup was easy, but one headset or the other occasionally has trouble connecting. Otherwise, performance is everything I wanted. Only complaint is the cables to the earbuds are just stiff enough to pop the bud out of the ear if the cable bumps a shirt collar or other obstruction. This is aggravated by the control module being too close to the earbud. Cable lengths should be changed so that the module hangs from the neck piece instead of the earbud.

I sure wouldn’t use this for the hard of hearing. The volume is capped and I’m not sure cranking up the source volume would help at all.If you need a couple wireless headphones that pull from the same source at the same time, this works just fine.

Finalmente un prodotto serio che fà ció per cui l’ho acquistato. E lo scrivo dopo aver provato altri prodotti di altre marche, tutti non all’altezza: ritardi audio/video, cuffie che si disconnettevano, difficoltá nella ricerca delle cuffie da accoppiare, ecc..È vero che questo prodotto Avantree non prevede l’utilizzo delle proprie cuffie, ma tutti i problemi elencati sopra sono finalmente un lontano ricordo.Non solo le cuffie si accoppiano al dispositivo immediatamente, ma l’audio non presenta alcun ritardo ed è perfettamente sincronizzato con le immagini. Inoltre il controllo del volume è indipendente da un paio di cuffie all’altro (e confermo anche che se il volume delle cuffie alzato al massimo dovesse risultare basso, basterà alzare il volume della tv alla quale sono connesse)Che altro dire, complimenti Avantree per un dispositivo veloce, immediato e perfettamente funzionante, che non tradisce le aspettative di chi lo acquista.
